Boston is a great walking city, with a compact downtown and historic neighborhoods, like Beacon Hill, the North End, Little Italy. We even venture out to Cambridge. Our walking tours last approximately 2 hours and cover a total distance of 1 mile (1.6k). These walking tours are fun and informal.

Freedom Trail: Our original Boston tour that covers the first mile (and a little bit off the beaten path) of the Freedom Trail, this tour takes you to see nearly a dozen of the historic sites of this pre-Revolutionary city. Before taking the tour, read up on some of the sites and characters covered on our Freedom Trail Sites List. 2 hours, slow pace. Minimal but some places to sit along the way.

North End / Little Italy: This is one of Boston’s oldest neighborhoods that has developed into the hub of Boston’s Italian culture. The narrow winding streets transport you back to the time of Paul Revere and Cotton Mather, who lived here, and the smell of garlic bread and cannoli transport to Roma! Beacon Hill Crime Tour: Known for it’s swanky homes and high-class establishments, Beacon Hill also has a darker side. We will walk by crimes scene and tell the stories of the victims, and the murderers who killed them. This tour is R and is not recommended for children under 16. 2 hours, slow pace. No places to sit.
Cambridge / Harvard: Cross of the (no longer so) dirty water of the Charles River to the “New Town” of Cambridge, home of Hah-vahd University. From the intelletcual elite who read, wrote and studied in Harvard Yard to the history of this centuries old town. 2 hours, slow pace.
Boston Chinatown Tour: Walk with us through Boston’s Chinatown while a small neighborhood it is loaded with historical sites, restaurants, bakerie and shops. Come discover the vast world of Asian culinary arts and explore the historical depth behind the cuisine. Explore this Eastern World where the various styles and regional dishes of the middle kingdom have converged in Boston’s Chinatown. 2 hours, slow pace. Minimal places to sit along the way.
Historic Tavern Tour will take you to 3 historic taverns/bars where we will have a drink in some of the same places where poets, politicians and Red Sox legends have patronized. The tour will also explore some of the sites in our historic Beacon Hill Neighborhood, where you will hear tales of the famous and infamous who have and still resided in one of Boston’s most prestigious neighborhood. This tour will of course include the famous Cheers Bar, but also a few other taverns off the beaten path which have a rich and storied history. The tour will also include a small part of Boston’s Freedom Trail. Join us as we take in and drink up some of Boston’s rich history. 2 hours, slow pace. Minimal but some places to sit along the way.
