Copenhagen is known as the city of bikes and there’s no better way than exploring the city on two wheels. What can you do with your luggage in the meantime? Sharing economy companies have locations all over the city to keep your bags safe Airbnb style while you sightsee.
Stasher (formerly CityStasher)
Stasher is present in almost every part of the world to help you make traveling abroad easier. The company has partnered with local shops and hotel chains to securely store luggage. Stasher calls these locations StashPoints.
Most of these StashPoints are open round the clock – but make sure to double check when you make a reservation.
Also, all bags stored with Stasher are insured for €1000.
It’s just €7 per bag for the first 24 hours and €5.5 for each additional day.
You can book your StashPoint from their website. In case of any questions or difficulties, you can contact their customer service team 24/7.
NOTE: Stasher and its competitors have storage services in many other cities, including London, Rome, and Amsterdam.
Stasher is not the only company that offers luggage storage in Copenhagen. There are a few other competitors such as BagBnB and Nannybag. These companies can be helpful if you are facing difficulty in finding a StashPoint near you.
BagBnB uses multiple types of businesses as their storage locations, named “Angels” by the app. BagBnB charges €5per bag, per day, and this comes with insurance and a guaranteed 3-minute check-in process.
The company allows you to book your luggage storage online ahead of time to explore the city while remaining bagless. However, keep in mind that these reservations are non-refundable.
Nannybag is another company that offers luggage storage services in Copenhagen.
You’ll pay an affordable 45kr (6€) per piece of luggage for the first 24 hours and 30kr (4€) for each additional day.
Also, there is insurance coverage of 1500€ per bag so you don’t have to worry about the security of your luggage. In case you want to cancel your booking or your plans change, there will be no charge up to the start time of your booking.
If you arrive by air, you can find un-manned lockers available at P4 (Parkeringhaus 4), opposite Terminal 2. You can only pay by credit card for Copenhagen Airport Left Luggage and 24 hours is the initial storage limit. You can later pay for up to 7 days, if necessary.
