Don’t have enough time to take all of our tours? Then consider our One Day in Chicago Tour – All-in-One Downtown. This tour utilizes your feet, the Chicago Public Transit system of trains and buses as well as the Chicago Water Taxi* to transport you around the best destinations of downtown Chicago!
There will be ample opportunities for memorable pictures. You will learn the history of Chicago while seeing breathtaking views of the city along the Chicago Riverwalk. You will snap pictures at the world famous Cloud Gate (a.k.a. the Bean) in Millennium Park. You’ll gaze up at the unique and diverse architecture while taking in the scent of chocolate that lingers in the air. The tour ends near the Navy Pier where you can ride the famous Ferris wheel and indulge in our famous deep dish pizza!
The All-in-One (AIO) Tour covers about 75% of the content covered in several of our separate tours that make up this tour, including The Loop & Millennium Park Tour, The Chicago Riverwalk & History Tour, The Magnificent Mile Tour, and The Architecture & Grant Park Tour.
Sites we cover on the Chicago One Day Tour:
Where: Tour meets at 77 E. RANDOLPH St. on the north side of the Chicago Cultural Center (map). Look for your guide with the Free Tour by Foot logo. Tour ends at the Centennial Fountain (map), a short walk to the Navy Pier.
Duration: Approximately 6 hours. There will be a break for lunch and a few short refreshment breaks.
If you can’t reserve on the above days of the week, consider our North Loop & Millennium Park Tour, the Riverwalk & History Tour, and the Magnificent Mile Tour individually.
Cost: This tour is free to take, and you get to decide what, if anything, the tour was worth when it’s done. A name-your-own-price tour is a tour for anyone’s budget.
*Guests will need to purchase a pass to cover public transportation rides during the tour. These are available from your guide at the start of the tour ($10.00) or from CTA vending machines.
