1) Find a Concert
February is the perfect time to see a concert - there are a few great artists stopping in the city on tour.

2) Go to a Sporting Event
Sports fans can find a few home games in and close to the Barcelona area in February. The city’s main football (soccer) team will be competing.

3) Barcelona Wine Week
If you’re interested in wine tasting and getting to know regional wines, head to Barcelona Wine Week from February 6th - 8th, 2023.
Barcelona Wine Week will host local and regional wineries for tastings and talks. You'll also be able to find food pairings, vineyard and winery exhibitions, and cocktail art.
You'll definitely walk away with a list of your new favorite wines.
4) Take a Sightseeing Tour
The weather will be a bit chilly in February, so taking a bus tour of Barcelona is one of the best ways to see the city.
City Sightseeing Barcelona is one of the bigger bus tour companies to operate in the city and is a great way to hear commentary about Barcelona from the shelter of a bus.
Looking for impressive views? Take a cable car ride up Montjuic to enjoy nature and this popular lookout point.
On a sunny day, you could also take a hike to Bunker del Carmel. These former anti-aircraft bunkers from the Spanish Civil War now offer a high vantage point.

5) See The World of Banksy
Fans of the enigmatic artist Banksy will be happy to hear that there is currently an exhibition of his work at Espacio Trafalgar.
This exhibition will only be available until the end of 2023, so if you're not going to be in Barcelona later this year, this might be your only chance.
Tickets for this exhibit are just €12 and you can book them ahead of time.
Espacio Trafalgar is open until 9 pm on Thursdays and 8 pm every other night, so this could also be a great nighttime activity!
6) Discover the Artistic Contributions of Gaudi
Museu Nacional d'Art de Catalunya currently has a temporary exhibit which covers the entire career of Gaudi, and this month will be one of the last opportunities to see it.
While many Barcelona walking tours will provide a bit of information about his influences on the architecture of the city, this exhibition is a great way to learn more about his work.
If you want to learn more about Gaudi than you're likely to discover on a walking tour, this is an excellent opportunity you won't want to miss.

7) Experience Traditional Flamenco Dancing
No matter when you visit Barcelona, there are almost always at least a few venues where professional Flamenco dancers perform every night of the week.
Whether you're looking for a good date night idea for Valentine's Day or you just want a fun activity to keep warm or avoid any potential rainy days in February, this is a great activity full of local flavor.

8) See the Major Attractions
Even in the slow season, lines tend to get very long to enter La Sagrada Familia at peak times, so we recommend a skip-the-line tour.

If you’re planning to visit multiple museums, the Barcelona Card is a great option.
9) Barcelona Carnival
The Barcelona Carnival takes place before Ash Wednesday and Lent begins.
Traditionally, locals dress in disguises and attend colorful parades and other public events.
This year, the carnival runs from February 16th - 22nd, 2023. You'll be able to find various festivities, especially in the Gothic Quarter.

RESCHEDULED: Barcelona Half-Marathon
Also known as the Mitja Marato de Barcelona, this half-marathon will be held on Feb 19th , 2023.
The run starts at the Arc de Triomf and ends next to the beach in the Arc de Triomf park. The route is accessible and open to wheelchair users.
It costs nothing to cheer on the participants and enjoy the race-day atmosphere. Of course, if you're a race enthusiast you can enter yourself!
