1) Attend a Concert
Dublin is a city that loves music. Great artists and bands are playing year-round, and this June the city is full of amazing concerts by big-name artists on tour.

2) Catch a Sporting Event
June is an exciting month for football fans to be in Dublin since it is one of the handfuls of cities hosting European Football Championship games.

3) Dublin Pride
The LGBTQ+ community in Dublin goes all out for Pride.
The Dublin Pride Festival runs from June 28 - 30, 2024, with multiple events, talks, live podcast recordings, and parties.
The main Pride Parade and March will be held on June 29, 2024.
The parade will start moving at 1:00 pm from O’Connell Street and continue to Merrion Square.
It’s free to enjoy the parade - and there are even a few designated spaces along the route where you can join in with the parade performers.
After the parade, the official Mother Pride Block Party will be held at the National Museum of Ireland at 4:00 pm.

4) See a Theatrical Performance
June is a great month to be in Dublin for enjoying a theatrical performance.
Some wonderful theatrical performances are going to happen in June. This year the Date is to be Announced.

5) See More with a City Pass

7) Explore the Landscapes Around Dublin
June is the beginning of summer - which means you'll have the perfect weather to strike out from the city centre and explore nature.
Dollymount Strand Beach is one of the closest spots! Kids can explore the sand dunes and the whole family can explore the pier or find the old lighthouse.

Of course, if you're ready to make it further afield, you can find plenty of guided tours and hikes to some of Ireland's most famous landscapes.
A fully guided day tour to the Cliffs of Moher will give you 1.5 - 2 hours to explore.
Howth is a nearby fishing village with a beautiful peninsula. You can take an e-bike tour over the trails and past the harbor!
For a less-coastal view, you can also find a full-day tour (with lunch) to the Wicklow Mountains.
8) Celebrate Bloomsday
Fans of the novel Ulysses by James Joyce will be excited to learn about Bloomsday, a festival named after the main character Leopold Bloom.
The story follows Bloom’s character - and others - through their activities on June 16, 1904.
You’ll see lots of people cosplaying as various characters, or just in period costumes as they go to and from readings, performances, and places that are featured in Ulysses.
Festival activities will run from June 11 - 16, 2024.
You’ll be able to find workshops, walking tours, themed breakfasts, and pub crawls.
9) Taste of Dublin 2024
Foodies rejoice! This June, the Taste of Dublin festival will take over the city.
Head out to the Iveagh Gardens to find the area’s best restaurants, chefs, and food producers offering samples and tasters.
Aspiring chefs can also watch cooking demonstrations or listen to talks about new cuisines and fusion dishes appearing in Dublin’s markets.

Tickets are more expensive at the door and may be sold out by the time you get there, so make sure to purchase them online ahead of time!

10) Take a Sightseeing Tour
You can take advantage of hop-on-hop-off bus tours to take you directly to the popular spots, with commentary as you go.
If you have the whole family with you, June is the perfect time to get out on the water during a Viking Splash land and water tour.
If you want to get out on a nice day, you can find plenty of pay-what-you-like walking tours.
Or keep to your own schedule with a self-guided tour that can be completed at any time of day.
