DOES JFK AIRPORT HAVE LUGGAGE STORAGE?

Due to security reasons, JFK Airport has limited the luggage storage options they have available on site.

However, they do provide limited service for some passengers if they have a long layover arriving at and departing from JFK Airport.

New York Travel Tips and Hacks

LUGGAGE STORAGE (THE SHARING ECONOMY)

After the success of companies like Airbnb and Uber, many businesses have begun to offer similar services in the storage market.

Two such companies are Bounce and Vertoe. They work with a variety of local businesses, hotels, and other locations to provide storage space for their customers.

Both have hundreds of locations in NYC, including at JFK Airport.

If you think you may need to store your luggage during your trip, see our post on luggage storage options in New York City to compare prices and services from every major competitor!

Bounce

This is one of the more popular luggage storage services in the New York area, and it offers one of the most affordable options at JFK. Prices start at just $6.90/piece per day.

You'll find more than 380 Bounce storage locations in New York City, which means you won't need to travel very far to find a place where you can drop off your baggage.

TIP: Vertoe has a shop located at the end of the AirTrain line where you can connect with the Sutphin Blvd. - Archer Ave subway station. This is very convenient for those heading into Manhattan.

MOBILE LUGGAGE STORAGE

This is perhaps the most convenient way to store your luggage, as every aspect of the process is taken care of for you.

My Bag Check has more in common with services like Uber than it does with Airbnb because they pick up your luggage/bags and deliver them to wherever you want.

Although prices are higher than some of the other kinds of luggage storage options out there, this is a much easier service to use.

Rather than needing to go back for your belongings later, you can have them drop off everything to you wherever it is needed.

  • Manhattan Orders - $35
  • Manhattan to Borough OR Borough to Borough - $50
