4. Take a Sightseeing Tour

The best way to see what Magic City has to offer is with a sightseeing tour. There are several great walking tours in Miami.

A convenient way to get around Miami while learning about the city is to take a hop-on-hop-off bus tour. July is when Miami's heat is in full force and the buses are air-conditioned.

These tours make stops at over 20 popular points of interest and attractions and include live English commentary (or recorded commentary in 11 languages).


5. Celebrate America's Independence Day in the Magic City

Bring the entire family out for an unforgettable celebration of red, white, and blue on July 4th.

The Miami Beach Fire on the Fourth Festival combines everything essential for the perfect day: fireworks, food trucks, and live music.

There are also activities at Palmer Park in South Miami, also with live music, food vendors, and fireworks. This event is alcohol-free.

The city of Hollywood has their own Star-Spangled Spectacular Celebration on Hollywood Beach.

And nearby Fort Lauderdale has an annual 4th of July Spectacular

6. Channel Your Inner Superhero at Florida Supercon

From July 12-14 the Miami Beach Convention Center will be bursting with all things superhero and comic for the annual Florida Supercon!

Expect celebrity sightings, countless exhibits, comic creators, and SO much more!

From July 13-14 you can shop for mangos, buy mango trees, take part in cooking classes, attend lectures, taste mango smoothies, and so much more.

It's a perfect family-friendly event. While you're there, you can visit the butterflies at Wings of the Tropics or the Children's garden.

10. Join in the Fun During the Annual No Sleep South Beach Weekend

The 10th annual No Sleep South Beach Weekend will party it up from July 18-21, 2024.

These three days will be packed with private events like a No Sleep White Yacht Party and a No Sleep Pool Party.

Be on the lookout for celebrities, as they are known to show up and join in the fun.

11. Watch Talented and Graceful Dancers

Each year the International Ballet Festival of Miami takes place.

The Miami Hispanic Ballet Company brings principal dancers from all over the world to Miami, as well as local dancers, to one festival to showcase their talents.

Shows typically take place throughout July and August.
