4. A Sightseeing Tour
March is a perfect off-season time to take a sightseeing tour with smaller tour groups.

5. Attend a Festival celebrating Miami
There are a few festivals you might enjoy in March, both of which support community programs or charities.
The annual 305 Day Festival takes place on March 2nd, 305 being one of Miami's area codes.
There will be live music, art, food and drinks, and local vendors selling their wares.
Carnival Miami takes place in March and is made up of various other events, includingL
- Carnival on the Mile (2nd and 3rd) which has art, music, food, and children's entertainment.
- Calle Ocho (March 10th) celebrates Latino food, music, art, and dance and has 12 stages covering 15 blocks
The festival is "a celebration of all things Miami" including food, fashion, music, the arts, and sports.
More than a million folks attend each year.

7. Go to a Comedy Show
Miami is a great place to enjoy a comedy experience, and there are some fantastic comedians in the area in March.

8. Head to the Fair
In March the Miami-Dade County Fair and Expo takes place at the fairgrounds of the same name.
In addition to over 90 rides, there are carnival games and over 150 food stands. It's the perfect family-friendly activity.
There's also a youth fair that includes circus acts, an ice-skating show, and a jetpack flying water circus, amongst other activities.
Look out for daily parades, stilt walkers, a strolling piano player, robocars, and interactive experiences such as a petting zoo.
It's impossible to be bored with so much to do!
This all takes place March 14th-April 7th, opening at noon most days.

9. Celebrate St. Patrick's Day
If you're in Miami over St. Patrick's Day weekend, you can find multiple free and cheap festivities taking place around the city!
One of the biggest events in Miami can be found at St. Pat's Wynwood on March 17th, an event that has attracted over 20,000 guests.
If you're looking for family-friendly parade fun, head to Hollywood on March 10th for South Florida's largest St. Patrick's Day Parade and Festival.
Coral Gables, just five miles from Miami, also has what they call "an ode to everything green with their St. Patrick's Day Festival.
In Fort Lauderdale there will even be a Shamrock Run.

10. Winter Party Festival
If you love live music, festivals, and dancing, you won't want to miss Miami's biggest and most diverse LGBTQ party of the winter.
The festival runs from February 28th-March 5th.
They call themselves a "Party with a Purpose," since the festival is produced by the National LGBTQ Task Force and donates a large portion of their proceeds to LGBTQ causes each year.
