5. Miami Book Fair International

The Miami Book Gair is an annual attraction that has been held every year for over 30 years.

It is an 8-day literary party with hundreds of publishers and authors from all over the world.

You can listen to author readings, speak to publishers, and line up for signings.

You can see first editions, original manuscripts, and some amazing collectibles. There is also a section for comics, graphic novels, and illustrations.

There are a number of activities for children as well, such as theater, arts, and crafts, story-telling, and more. 

This year, the festival takes place from November 12th–19th.

6. Attend a Candlelight Concert

Over 100 cities now have one-of-a-kind concerts by candlelight, including Miami.

The concerts cover a variety of genres, including classical, pop, jazz, and more. There are also music soundtracks.

All of these are performed in amazing locations to the flickering light of candles. It's truly an unforgettable experience.

7. Visit Santa's Enchanted Forest

Open from November 2023 through January 2024 is Santa's Enchanted Forest.

You'll find over 100 rides both for kids and also for those who like more of a thrill ride.

There are shows with acrobats, magic, and more, and attractions like carnival games.

You'll also find food, amazing Christmas lights, and, of course, Santa himself.

8. Christmas Tree Lighting at Bayfront Park 

Miami's 50-foot Christmas tree sits overlooking Biscayne Bay.

Each year it's turned on the day after Thanksgiving, a big event that often involves local celebrities and politicians.

The City of North Miami also has an annual Christmas tree lighting at MOCA Plaza, with music, Santa, and treats.

9. Veteran’s Day Parade

The Veteran’s Day Parade is an annual event, which takes place every year on the 11th of November at 11:11 am to honor war veterans.

The parade takes place on Ocean Drive from 5th to 14th Streets. The parade ends with a picnic at Lummus Park with military fly-overs and exhibitions.
