2. Attend the Throne Fair

Paris' Foire du Trone, which takes place in Bois de Vincennes park, dates back to the 17th century.

This is one of the biggest funfairs in Europe and it draws large crowds.

Here you'll find carnival rides, games, food and drink stalls, live entertainment such as clowns and fire eaters, and so much more.

In fact, there are some traditional French treats on tap such as crepes and roasted almonds, in addition to other treats.

This is a great place to take kids for a fun day in the city.

NOTE: Due to construction for the Paris Summer Olympics, the annual Throne Fair will not return until 2025.

3. See a Cabaret Show

If you're looking for something that is a bit more stereotypically Parisian, why not see a cabaret?

The Moulin Rouge is known for its live music, extravagant costumes, and beautiful performers in a luxurious environment.

Performances run regularly year-round, and we recommend getting your tickets a few months in advance as they do tend to sell out.

Note that the Crazy Horse also offers a combo package that includes a backstage experience.

4. Take a Sightseeing Tour

Take in the City of Lights with a tour guide and sightseeing tour.

Since April marks the very beginning of springtime weather, it's the perfect time to find a pay-what-you-like walking tour.

If you're looking to cover more ground or have some convenient transportation included, hop-on-hop-off bus tours are available that feature recorded commentary in multiple languages!

They also make stops at Paris's most popular points of interest.

If you want to see the lights, you can take a night bus tour. These tours do not allow you to hop off in the middle, but you’ll get a great overview of Paris.

If you're looking for a tour with a topical focus, Street Art Tours have become quite popular in the last few years.

History buffs will also enjoy a guided tour of the Pere Lachaise cemetery.

It's the largest cemetery in the city and has headstones and mausoleums with many famous names on them, including Moliere, Edith Piaf, and Oscar Wilde.

5. Take a Relaxing Dinner Cruise

Taking a cruise down the River Seine is a beautiful and relaxing way to see the City of Lights!

And if you're looking to indulge a little, why not have dinner or a glass of bubbly during your boat ride?

There are plenty of options to choose from:

Some of these cruises are included with at least one of the Paris Passlib' tourist passes, so that might be a good way to save some money on tickets.
