1. Enjoy a Cabaret Show
If you're looking for something that is a bit more stereotypically Parisian, why not see a cabaret?
The Moulin Rouge is known for its live music, extravagant costumes, and beautiful performers in a luxurious environment.
Performances run regularly year-round, and we recommend getting your tickets a few months in advance as they do tend to sell out.

2. Take a Food Tour

3. Admire the City of Lights from the River Seine

For a full evening out, you can take a dinner cruise down the Seine.

4. Take a Sightseeing Tour
Paris is simply lovely in June, and it is an excellent time to take a sightseeing tour. You can choose from walking tours, bike toursund bus tours. and boat tours.
Several free, pay-what-you-wish walking tours are great for the budget-minded but tend to attract large groups.

5. Shop the Paris Sales
If you’re a fan of Paris fashion and shopping, the last week of June is the perfect time to shop the sales.
These massive sales are state-regulated, which is why they happen like clockwork twice a year.
The summer sales run from June 26 - July 24, 2024.
Expect to find larger-than-usual crowds in Paris’s department stores, boutiques, and other shops.
As stores attempt to clear last season’s merchandise you can expect sales from 30% and up to 70% off normal prices.

6. Save Money with a Tourist Attraction Pass

7. Attend a Music Festival
Paris is both the city of lights and the city of music in June.
There are loads of music festivals in and around the city covering many styles of music. Just a few of them are:
We Love Green Festival | June 1 & 2
This music festival is more than just a showcase for top musical artists.
It is also about educating the public about environmental responsibility in an engaging and fun way.
Fête de la Musique | June 21
For over 40 years Parisians have celebrated the Summer Solstice with the Fête de la Musique festival.
Free concerts take place in places like Jardin du Luxembourg, Jardin des Tuileries, the Petit Palais, the Louvre, and along the banks of the Seine.
They cover all styles of music and are played by both professional musicians and amateurs. Best of all, the concerts are free to attend!
Fnac Live Festival | dates TBA
This annual festival which pulls more than 80,000 attendees, covers a variety of music styles, including hip-hop, rock, world music, electronic, and pop.
It features both established and emerging artists and is held each year at Hôtel de Ville. Admittance is free.
La Défense Jazz Festival | dates TBA
This outdoor annual jazz festival is held in La Défense and features artists both established and new.
There are concerts in the afternoon and evening, some free and some ticketed. There are also financial prizes for winners chosen by a jury.
Chopin Festival | June 18-July 14th
Some of the world's most accomplished pianists come together for this festival that showcases the works of composer Frédéric Chopin.
The Chopin Society of Paris hosts performances at the Orangerie in the bucolic Parc de Bagatelle.
The Festival du Parc Floral | dates TBA
Four outdoor music festivals take place in Parc Floral in Bois de Vincennes each year.
They take place each Saturday and Sunday, from late June to early October. Daytime concerts are free, and evening concerts often have a cost.

8. Enjoy the Avant-Garde
For the 22nd year, Nuit Blanche takes place in Paris.
This festival sees hundreds of events scheduled throughout Paris and beyond, including art installations, concerts, and exhibitions, all in celebration of contemporary art.
The program takes place on June 1st and will put a focus this year on French Overseas Territories.

9. See the Versailles Fountains Night Show
On Saturday nights from March 29 - October 31, 2024 you can see the spectacular fountains at Versailles Palace 'perform'!
Synchronized to classical music, the fountains play all kinds of tricks, pulling off interesting visual effects as well.
At the end of the evening, there is a fireworks display set to music from Louis XICV’s era.

10. Celebrate at the Marche des Fiertés LGBT
Every year, people of all ages and persuasions come out to celebrate the spirit of freedom at the Marche des Fiertés LGBT (formerly known as the 'Gay Pride' parade).
On the afternoon of June 29, 2024, you can watch the parade that starts early in the afternoon and lasts about 4 hours long.
The route runs from the Montparnasse-Bienvenue Metro station to the Place de la Bastille, culminating in a massive party in the streets.
The parade will draw a large crowd - so be prepared for transportation delays and detours.

11. Solidays Festival
This annual multi-day festival takes place from June 28-28, 2024.
The lineup is always packed with well-known names. In the past performers have included Macklemore, Therapy Taxi, Jeremy Underground, and Hocus Pocus.
Solidays is focused on raising awareness about the AIDS crisis and showing solidarity with sufferers.

12. Champs-Elysees Film Festival
The screenings for this annual French-American independent film festival take place at various locations along the Avenue des Champs-Élysées.
There is a focus on emerging talent and a new way of doing things, and there's a jury competition as well.
Films are subtitled in either English or French (depending on the original language).
This event is quite popular so tickets go fast and we recommend buying tickets a few months in advance.

13. Take the Family to Disneyland Paris
Disneyland is one of the most popular tourist attractions in France, with a wide range of shows, rides, and interactive experiences.
Of course, it will probably be busy during the summer, so we recommend using the Disney Premier Access App to secure spots in line.
The best reason to visit in June is that admission to Disneyland Paris is now included with the Go City Paris Explorer Pass.

14. Attend a Pro Sporting Event or Tour Stade de France
If you’re with the family, it could be fun to take a guided tour of Stade de France and see where their football and rugby teams spend most of their time for home games.
Admission is included with the Paris Pass!

15. Go to The Louvre at Night
Take in the art at one of the most famous museums in the world as the sun is going down and the famous outdoor pyramid lights up.
A private guide and skip-the-line access make this a great way to see the Louvre.

Head to the International Paris Air Show | Returning in 2025
This semi-annual event, held only in odd years, is held at Le Bourget Airport.
It showcases the latest innovations and newest technologies in aviation and is one of the most prestigious aerospace events around.
Over 320,000 visitors attend each year, with thousands of companies from over 50 countries exhibiting their work.
In the past, you might have seen the Concord, the Boeing 747, the Space Shuttle, or military folks flying in formation.
