Free Tours by Foot has been giving year-round tours in Boston for over 10 years. We're proud that over 140,000 guests (and counting!) have taken one of our tours.
We've been featured in travel guides like Lonely Planet, top press like the New York Times, and travel bloggers from all over the world. We have given tours to Hollywood stars, foreign ambassadors and local elementary schools.
Free Tours by Foot is a group of fun-loving Boston tour guides who have come together for a common cause: To teach history and entertain guests with creative tours of Boston, on any budget. Our tour guests determine what they think the tour was worth at no upfront cost. Our tour guides love what they do and will make sure they provide you with the best sightseeing experience possible.

BRIAN | Manager & Tour Guide
Brian was born in Cambridge and has been living in the Boston area all his life. He is a graduate of Boston's Emerson College with a degree in communications with a journalism/history focus.
He has been leading tours for Free Tours By Foot Boston since it was started in the city of Boston in 2012 and enjoys sharing his knowledge of Boston's rich history with not only the guests on his tours but with everyone he meets.
DAVID | Manager & Tour Guide
David was born and raised in Boston and he loves his city. He likes to show Boston to visitors and friends and share his insider tips. He has probably led over 5000 tours over the past 30 years, if not more.
When he is not leading tours, he is researching new exploratory walks through his favorite city. He is excited to share his knowledge and excitement for Boston with all his tour guests.
