HOW WARM IS BOSTON IN JUNE
Spring turns into summer during June and is a perfect time to visit this historic city.
Afternoon high temperatures continue to warm from the lower 70s F (21 C to 22 C) early in June to near 80 F (26 C to 27 C) by the month’s end.
On average, about 3 afternoons this month, most likely during the second half, will experience high temperatures of 90 F (32 C) or more.
The record high temperature recorded in Boston during June was 100 F (38 C).
Late night and early morning low temperatures also warm from the mid-50s F (13 C to 14 C) early in the month into the mid-60s F (17 C to 18 C) by the end of the month.
A few of the cooler mornings, especially early in June, can be a bit chilly, dipping down into the upper 40s F (9 C to 10 C).
HOW MUCH SUN & RAIN?
Skies tend to be sunny or at least partly sunny on average on 17 days this month with the latter part of the month likely to be somewhat sunnier than the earlier days.
About 10-11 days will record some rainfall; however, only about 2 days this month generally record rainfalls of 0.5 inches (12.7 mm) or more.

WHAT TO WEAR IN JUNE?
June starts out Spring-like but ends up more Summer-like.
You might need a sweater or light windbreaker for the cooler days early in June but are more likely to need summer attire, especially during the second half of the month.
