You can see Coconut Grove and Little Havana’s vibrant community, the entertainment offered by South Beach, and more.

Each bus has a live English-speaking tour guide, but there is recorded commentary available in 11 different languages: English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Russian, Mandarin, Japanese, Arabic, and Hindi.

TIP: you can save up to 55% off with either the Go City Miami Card, the Miami Sightseeing Pass, or the Explorer Pass.

GUIDED SIGHTSEEING BUS TOURS OF MIAMI

These professionally guided bus excursions deliver a more personalized experience.

While you usually won’t be allowed to hop off and on at your leisure, live tour guides will provide a lot of interesting details about the city, and some services even offer additional activities.

Miami Tour Company

Miami Tour Company offers a range of different tours that will take you to some very special attractions across Miami and the surrounding area.

These services are a step beyond the average bus tour, providing full excursions that often include boat travel as well.

Their main tour is called Miami to the Max and it includes a lot of amenities such as sunscreen, mosquito spray, bottled water, and even lunch for free!

Miami to the Max!

  • Tickets: $45.94/Adults | $41.66/Children
  • Availability: Daily at 10 am
  • Duration: 4 hours
  • Includes bottled water and a map
  • Purchase or learn more.

Even though this isn’t technically a hop-on-hop-off bus, there are actually 5 stops on this bus tour.

At each stop, you’ll be given the opportunity to jump off and look around for a bit.

You won’t have the same kind of freedom to explore at your own pace, but at least you can stretch your legs and get a closer look at some of the more notable sites in Miami.

This tour can be combined with a boat cruise, a trip to the Everglades, or both for a minimal additional price.

If you want to know more about these options, make sure to check our combo package section.

Xcursions USA

This company provides a lot of different services in Miami, including a Miami City Tour which will take you to locations such as Little Havana, Coral Gables, Coconut Grove, and Millionaire’s Row.

While on this trip, you’ll learn about the history of the city from a professional guide.

As if that weren’t enough, a free boat tour is also included with each pass.

This sightseeing cruise will give you a great view of the Miami skyline and some of the homes of the rich and famous that live in the city.

Miami City Tour + Boat Tour

  • Tickets: $50 per person
  • Availability: Daily at 10:10 am & 1:55 pm
  • Duration: 4 hours 30 minutes
  • Purchase or learn more.

Unlike their competitors, this bus tour will not make any stops for hopping on and off.

That said, the price is definitely fair considering that you get both a bus tour and a boat tour.

You can expect the Miami City Tour to take about 2 - 2 ½ hours, while the cruise will last for approximately 75 minutes.

If you need to cancel your passes for any reason, they offer full refunds up to 24 hours before the tour takes place.

KEY WEST DAY TRIPS

In addition to the traditional hop-on-hop-off tours and fully guided tours, some bus tour services also offer day-outs to Key West.

These outings include transportation to and from the location, but you shouldn’t expect a tour of the area.

Instead, you’ll be given some time to enjoy popular activities and attractions in Key West before heading back later in the day.

Xcursions USA

This highly-rated company offers an affordable one day out from Miami to Key West and back again on a two-level bus.

If you are on a budget, you'll save $10 by booking a lower level seat.

You’ll have six hours in Key West before making the voyage back to Miami, giving you plenty of time to uncover all of the many sights and sounds that make this subtropical paradise so wonderful.

Key West Full-Day Tour

Xcursions USA also offers Key West combo packages which include attractions such as the Conch Train, a Trolley Tour, and Parasailing. See what other tours they offer.

Unlike their competitors, this company does not provide free bottled water and they recommend bringing some with you.

Should you need to cancel your tickets, they can be returned for a refund up to 24 hours before the day trip begins.

Gray Line

This popular tour company offers their own Key West day out which is much like the other options provided here, in that you can expect to spend at least five hours in Key West between 12 PM and 5 PM.

The tour departs at about 6-7 AM and returns back to Miami at about 9 PM.

It’s worth noting that you can actually get this trip to Key West for free with the purchase of the Go City Miami Card

As we mentioned before, this service is actually included for free with the Go Miami Card. Depending on how you use this tourist pass, you could technically get this tour for free.

We’ll use the 2-Day Go City Miami Card ($97) for example:

Day 1

  • Hop-on-Hop-off Bus Tour | $54
  • Miami Zoo | $24.56
  • Miami Seaquarium | $53.50
  • Total Value | $327.06

Day 2

  • Key West Day Trip | Free

As you can see, the 2-Day Go City Miami Card can easily pay for itself in just one day, ensuring that you’ll have the entirety of the next day to enjoy a trip to Key West without paying anything extra.

Keep this in mind when deciding which Key West Day Out to take, and make sure to read our post about Miami tourist passes for more information about this and other discount opportunities.

MIAMI EVERGLADES DAY TRIPS

As with the day outs to Key West, you will also find several services providing transportation to and from the Everglades.

The main difference to note is that admission to an Everglades tour is usually included with the price of your bus pass.

This is a great opportunity to see some of the natural wildlife in Florida while experiencing one of the most beautiful places on earth.

NOTE: If you’re looking for additional information about tours and day trips at this popular location, make sure to read our post about which Everglades tour is best.

Xcursions USA

As you may have guessed, Xcursions USA provides a wide variety of sightseeing tours in and around the Miami area – including one to the Everglades.

Their service is very similar to competitors, with admission to the park included in the price of your pass for the bus.

Every pass is good for one airboat ride through the Everglades and a wildlife show.

  • Tickets: $32.99/adult | $24.99/children | $31.99/senior
  • Availability: Daily at 10:10 am and 2:10 pm
  • Duration: 4 ½ hours
  • Purchase or learn more.

This Everglades day out is a bit shorter than some of the other services offered by competitors. If you want to avoid spending too much time in the area, this could be a great option.

Customers who need to cancel their trip can receive a refund if they return the passes at least 24 hours before the outing.

NOTE: This trip is included with a combo pass offered by Xcursions USA. Check our combo packages section for additional details.
