The following list will include a variety of entertaining things to do in Las Vegas throughout the month of June.

We’ll include several fun attractions, events, and activities for audiences of all ages.

1. Go to a Concert

This June you can catch a show by many of the most popular performers in the world!

Many of them put on several concerts when they are in town.

2. Go to the Fremont Street Experience

If you're looking for something fun to do and you prefer to save your money for gambling or food, consider visiting Fremont Street.

They routinely offer several fun activities, some for little or no money

From 6 pm - 2 am they play a variety of music from bands like Imagine Dragons, The Killers, Shakira, Tiesto, and more while projecting a light show.

Typically, the Fremont Experience includes free concerts, a zipline, museums, special attractions, and much more to enjoy.

3. Take a Food Tour

If you are not in Vegas for Restaurant Week or just looking for a local food expert to show you where to find the best eats in Las Vegas, consider taking a food tour.

On a Las Vegas Secret Food Tour, you'll try treats from famed chefs like Wolfgang Puck, Gordon Ramsay, and the Cake Boss. 

A glass of red, white, or sparkling wine is included in the tour price.

You can upgrade to a special drinks package and try drinks with names like "Avon Came Upon Sin" and "Out On The Tiles"!

5. Save Money With a Tourist Attraction Pass

For those who plan to visit several popular attractions, see live shows, take a tour or two, and enjoy other activities, a Las Vegas tourist pass can potentially save you 50% or more off ticket prices. 

There are a few types of tourist passes catering to different needs. Some passes will benefit those who plan on seeing 4-5 attractions or activities each day. 

Other passes are better suited to those who want to save money on just 2-3 attractions.

6. Save on Great Meals During Restaurant Week 

During this annual event, more than 150 of Las Vegas’s best restaurants offer savings with prix-fixe menus, which can save you quite a bit off your tab. 

In 2024, Restaurant Week is from June 3 - 14. Your food will taste even better knowing that restaurants donate up to $6 per diner to the Three Square Food Bank.

There will be more than 150 restaurants participating, offering prix-fixe menus with price points from $20 to $120.

Restaurants may offer dinner and/or lunch. Some even offer a prix-fixe breakfast menu!

Follow the Las Vegas Restaurant Week website or their Facebook page so you can find out which restaurants are participating as soon as it is announced.

Be sure to make reservations as this event is very popular.


7. Attend a Sporting Event

June has opportunities to see baseball, soccer games, and UFC fights.

Some of these sports events are kid-friendly while others make for a fun evening out in Las Vegas as they take place at night.

Here are sports you'll find:

8. Head To the Las Vegas International Chess Festival

Las Vegas has its fair share of festivals, many centered on music, performing arts, or beer!

Looking for something more cerebral? Then head to the Las Vegas International Chess Festival, one of the top chess festivals in the world.

Besides competitions, there are lots of fun side events, like chess camps, free lectures, and even a chess festival poker tournament!

This event is suited to people of all ages and skill levels.

The festival takes place from June 5-9, 2024 at the Flamingo Hotel and Casino.

9. See a Theatrical Performance

Although you can usually count on at least a few musicals and other theatrical performances in Las Vegas each month, there aren't too many scheduled for June 2024.

Cirque du Soleil

  • O | A young boy goes on an adventure that sends him to a magical realm.
  • Michael Jackson ONE | acrobatics, dance, and visuals that reflect Michael Jackson's showmanship
  • The Beatles LOVE | a Grammy award-winning psychedelic acrobatic journey through the 60s set to Beatles music
  • Mad Apple | Acrobats, dancers, comedians, magicians, and others give you a snapshot of night in New York
  • Ka | Rotating stages, aerial performances, and acrobatics around the story of royal twins separated at youth trying to reunite

Variety Acts/Shows

  • Absinthe | This adults-only show is a mix of cabaret, humor, and acrobatics, all taking place on a circular stage
  • Awakening | A myth-like love story with fantasy creatures, many types of dance, haute-couture costumes, 3D sound, and more
  • Blue Man Group | Instrumental music, art, and comedy, all performed by wordless blue-faced neon-lit men
  • iLuminate | Amazing choreography performed by dancers wearing LED suits while lighting effects dance across the room
  • V: The Ultimate Variety Show | High-energy stunts and performances with comedy, magic, and spectacle

10. Take a Bus Tour

See a lot in a shorter amount of time from the comfort of an air-conditioned bus. 

Hop-on-hop-off bus tours allow you to get on and off the bus whenever you want to see more of any of the sites along the route.

Big Bus Tours is the main bus tour company in Las Vegas and the only company that provides live commentary during the tour.


There are other types of bus tours available, like night bus tours, and themed tours like a Pawn Stars Bus Tour and a Mob Bus Tour.

11. Experience the Sphere

The recently opened $1.2 billion MSG Sphere is the world's largest spherical structure.

Concerts, sporting events, films, and award shows will take place at the venue, which has enough room for up to 25,000 people!

What's impressive at first glance are the millions of LEDs covering the outside of the building.

Inside, it's just as impressive, with a stunning and even changing backdrop to the performers on the stage.

The immersive Darren Aronofsky film, Postcard from Earth, is shown on a screen that's the size of four football fields.

Note that visitors to the Sphere have discussed the steepness of the seating but have said that those afraid of heights will soon feel comfortable.

12. Attend the First Friday Festival

On June 7, Las Vegas will be celebrating its First Friday Festival.

This event focuses on the work of local artists such as painters, photographers, jewelers, and more.

This festival will take place in the Downtown Arts District on 1st Street.

There will be more than 80 venues and 50 outdoor artists providing fun activities and attractions.

The best part about this activity is that it's entirely free! All you have to do is show up and have fun. This is a great way to see the artistic vision of Las Vegas artists.

13. Go on Las Vegas PRIDE OUTside Hike

Each month there is a family-friendly hike on the Cathedral Rock trail.

See flowers and trees, a waterfall, and views of the avalanche chute.

Events take place on June 9 at 10:00 am.

14. Play the World Series of Poker

The World Series of Poker is considered the world's "longest-running, largest, richest, and most prestigious gaming event in the world."

Events take place at the Horseshoe and Paris Hotel and Casino between May 28 and July 17, 2024.

15. Celebrate Juneteenth

Las Vegas has one of the largest Juneteenth Festivals in the state.

Dates and information haven't been released for 2024 yet, but in the past the Expo at World Market Center has come alive in celebration with arts, music, culture, and dance.

16. Experience a Magic Show

In addition to all the theatrical shows taking place this month, most of the resident Las Vegas magicians will also be performing in May.

If you're interested in seeing something unexpected or beyond belief, consider going to one of these shows!

17. Play at the Pinball Hall of Fame

It costs nothing to enter this pinball machine museum which is 10,000 square feet of restored pinball machines. Do bring quarters if you plan on playing the machines.

You can enjoy your pinball, even more, knowing that proceeds from gameplay and the candy machines are donated to the Salvation Army.

The Pinball Hall of Fame is open from 10:00 am to 9:00 pm every day. Needless to say, this is an ideal place to bring the kids.
