June in Madrid is relatively dry with warm to hot afternoons but with cool to comfortable late nights and early mornings. 


Temperatures

Afternoon high temperatures tend to average near 26 C (78-79 F) early in June, warming to 29-30 C (84-86 F) near the end of the month.

About 6 days will record highs at or above 32 C (90 F) with 1-2 afternoons, especially later in the month, reaching up near 35 C (95 F). 

The record high temperature in Madrid during June is 40.7 C (105.3 F).

Late night and early morning low temperatures should average around 12-14 C (54-57 F) early in the month, warming to around 16 C (61 F) near the end of the month. 

A few of the cooler mornings, especially early in the month, can dip down to around 9 C (48 F).

The record low temperature in Madrid during June is 4.4 C (39.9 F).

What to Wear in Madrid in June?

Best to dress for Summer with light and airy clothing. You can bring sundresses, shorts, both long and short-sleeved tops as well as jeans. 

You may want to add a light windbreaker or sweater for the few cooler late nights and early mornings.

Don’t forget some comfortable walking shoes as well as some sneakers.


Things to Do in Madrid in June

The weather in June is usually quite comfortable and sunny, so it's a perfect time to consider taking a pay-what-you-wish Madrid walking tour.

If you're looking for some family fun, consider heading to one of the theme parks or amusement parks in the area, including Parque Warner Madrid and Parque de Attraciones.

Anyone looking for a nighttime activity might want to consider going to a live Flamenco performance.
