Nashville Weather in February

AVERAGE TEMPERATURES IN FEBRUARY

Daytime high temperatures will average near 50 F (about 10 C) early in the month, warming into the mid-50s F (12 -14 C) by the end of the month. A few of the warmer afternoons, especially during the last half of the month could reach up into the low 70s F (21- 22 C). 

Late night and early morning low temperatures tend to be in the low 30s F (-1 to 0 C) but will warm to mid to upper 30s F (1 to 3 C) near the end of the month.

A few of the colder mornings, early in the month, can see temperatures dipping down into the mid to upper teens (about - 8 C).

On average, about 15-16 days will see temperatures dropping to 32 F (0 C) or less with temperatures falling to 0 F (-18 C) or less about once each decade.  


HOW MUCH SUN AND RAIN

During February, expect 13 days that are sunny or at least partially sunny. Daylight increases throughout the month from about 10.4 hours on the 1st to 11.4 hours by the end of the month. 

Skies tend to be cloudy or mostly cloudy on 15 days. 

Rain or some type of precipitation falls on 10-11 days this month, though only 2-3 of these record rainfalls of 0.5 inches (about 13mm) or more.

1. Long Pants
