2. Go to a Game!
Spend an evening cheering on one of Philadelphia’s pro sports teams. March is a great time to catch NHL, NFL, and NBA games.
One of the biggest events coming to Philly this month is March Madness! The East Regional NCAA Tournament will be taking place at Wells Fargo Center from March 25th - 27th, 2022.

5. Dine Out During Restaurant Week
East Passyunk Resturant Week
Celebrate the culinary treats of East Passyunk Avenue from February 28th - March 11th with price-fixed 3-course meals for $20, $30, $40, or $55 per person.
There are 26 options for restaurants along the road and only 15 minutes from the city center.

6. Celebrate St. Patrick's Day
The Philadelphia St. Patrick's Day Parade will be held on March 13th, 2022 at 11:00 am.
The parade will travel mostly down Market Street from City Hall to Front Street with a performing area near Independence Mall.
For a 21+ event, the Erin Express offers free bus rides all day, traveling to over 12 bars and pubs to celebrate St. Patrick's Day.
These buses are free and run every 15 minutes - no tickets, no bracelets, just hop on and go between bars.
7. Look into a Tourist Discount Pass
Visitors who are working with a budget should really think about getting a Philadelphia tourist pass.

9. Hear the Philly Pops Perform Classic Rock Music
The Philly Pops will be producing two great shows in Philadelphia this month, both featuring some of the most beloved rock music of the 20th century.
The first show is Let It Be, based on the hit album from The Beatles which will be celebrating its 50th Anniversary in 2022. This event will be taking place from March 11th - 13th, and tickets are already selling out fast!
On March 26th, the orchestra will be performing The Music of David Bowie: A Musical Odyssey. Fans of this rock star won't want to miss this one night event at The Met in Philadelphia.
10. Enjoy a Film Festival
Philadelphia is home to several film festivals, some of which happen during March!
You'll have a chance to see exciting new films from indie directors with opportunities to participate in Q&A sessions.
qFLIX LGBT Film Festival
qFLIX is an exhibition of American and international lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer independent film that reflects the diversity of the community.
The 2022 line up has not been announced at the time of writing, but there are 8 world premieres scheduled so far, and you can expect this event to take place from March 20th - 27th.
Women's Film Festival
The Women’s Film Festival celebrates women in the film and entertainment industry. All of the films are created by, for, or about women.
The schedule has not been released but in years past there have been Q&As, lectures and film screenings. Keep an eye on the website for more information.
NOTE: Dates have yet to be confirmed for 2022.
Isreali Film Festival
This festival introduces Israeli culture and society through film.
Each season, a slate of feature films and documentaries are selected to provide a diverse and impartial reflection of Israel.
Shows run in the afternoon and evenings with tickets around $15. This event is scheduled for March 26th, 2022. Learn more here.
RESCHEDULED: Philadelphia Flower Show
A big event in Philadelphia this March is the Flower Show, a week-long horticultural celebration of beauty.
A highlight for the kids is the Butterflies Live! exhibit.
The interactive and educational exhibit presented by California’s SkyRiver Butterflies. You can even make your own Butterfly clip.
For the over 21 crowd, the Flower Show often has evening events with entertainment and beverages available.
