Temperature
Daytime high temperatures early in July will tend to be near 22 C (71-72 F), warming to about 24 C (75 F) by the end of the month.
A few of the warmer afternoons can reach up to near 31 C (88 F) with the record high temperature in Prague during July being 36 C (97 F).
Late night and early morning low temperatures will tend to be near 12-13 C (54-55 F), warming to about 14 C (57 F) near the end of the month.
A few of the cooler mornings this month, however, can dip down near 9-10 C (48-50 F). The record low temperature in Prague during July is 5 C (4`1 F).
Rain or Shine
You can expect 17-18 days this month with sunny, or at least partly sunny skies, offering opportunity to be outdoors.
Rain generally occurs on about 18 days, however, only 9-10 of these record 1mm or more rainfall.
Daylight
The hours of daylight decrease this month from about 16.3 hours on the 1st down to 15.3 hours by the 31st.
Wind
The wind tends to be mostly light to gentle (6-19 kph/4-12 mph) but briefly can be moderate (20-28 kph/13-18mph).
What to Wear in Prague during July?
It is summer and afternoon temperatures tend to be comfortable to warm, however, nights can still be a bit chilly.
Jeans and short sleeve shirts work well along with a pair of shorts for the warmer days.
For the cooler nights and early mornings, you may need a windbreaker, a long-sleeved shirt or two, and perhaps a light sweater.
You should also pack an umbrella for those wet days and don’t forget a good pair of walking shoes.
Things to Do in Prague during July
Since the weather will be nice this month, you might want to consider going on a pay-what-you-wish walking tour in Prague. There are also hop-on hop-off bus tours you might enjoy instead!
The summer is also one of the best times to take a cruise down the Vltava River. Alternatively, you could spend some time in Petrin Park and maybe even see the view from Petrin Tower.
Another attraction you might want to visit is the Lennon Wall, a wall covered in graffiti which honors the life and legacy of musician John Lennon.
