This post provides details about each of the tourist attraction discount passes available in St. Augustine, Florida. We will also include information about combo packages that you can also use to save money on popular activities in the area.

Visión general

Tourist passes typically include access to dozens of different attractions for one low price. If you’re planning to enjoy multiple activities in St. Augustine, this could be a great opportunity to significantly cut your costs.

There are currently two passes offered in St. Augustine, and they both include admission to several popular museums, tours, and historical sites throughout the city. One of the best services included with both passes is the Old Town Trolley Tour.

While one pass is all-inclusive and offered for 1, 2, or 3 days at a time, the other is mostly a prepackaged pass which covers a handful of specific activities for a total of 10 days.

Combo packages are a great alternative to tourist passes, as they also include admission to multiple activities at a discount. Although you typically won’t save as much with this option, it’s worth considering if you’re only interested in a few attractions.

St. Augustine Tour Pass

This all-inclusive pass includes access to 27 popular attractions in St. Augustine, and it is valid for either 1, 2, or 3 days at a time.

The St. Augustine Tour Pass includes skip-the-line admission to some of the most popular museums, tours, and other attractions in the city.

You can access this tourist pass using your mobile phone, and their app includes an interactive map to help you find each of the included services.

There are currently a total of 15 standard attractions and 12 featured attractions. While you can use the pass for as many standard activities as you want, you will only have access to the following amount of featured options depending on the duration of your pass:

  • 1-Day Pass | 2 featured attractions
  • 2-Day Pass | 3 featured attractions
  • 3-Day Pass | 4 featured attractions

Things to Consider

As you can see, the cost per day actually decreases if you buy a longer pass. Considering that longer passes also include access to more featured attractions, you’re almost certainly going to save much more money with a 3-Day Pass than a 1-Day Pass.

Furthermore, if you choose to purchase a 1-Day Pass, chances are you’ll need to use it for at least 3-4 activities just to start saving money. With a 2-Day Pass or better, you only need to use it for 2-3 attractions in order to save a decent amount.

Depending on how you use the St. Augustine Tour Pass, you could save up to 40% or more off general admission prices. If you’re already planning to enjoy a lot of the included activities, this is a great discount opportunity.

In addition to these factors, the St. Augustine Tour Pass includes a 30-day risk-free guarantee, so if you decide not to use it within 30 days of purchase, you can get your money back.

We recommend this pass for anyone who wants to take multiple tours and visit several popular locations such as Marineland or the Old Jail Museum within the span of just a few days.

If you want to take your time and enjoy a variety of tours and attractions over more than just 3 days, consider one of the alternatives instead.

St. Augustine Go Pass

The Old Town Trolley ticket also includes access to their beach shuttle, and it is valid for 1 day. You can expect stops at the Old Jail, Potter’s Wax Museum, and the Old Drug Store.

In addition to these tickets, you can also choose 3 of the following attractions to enjoy:

Things to Consider

Given that the Hop-on Hop-off Trolley Tour and admission to the St. Augustine History Museum accounts for roughly $41 of the value of the pass, so it will be important to choose additional activities that will make the service worth it.

For example, if you were to choose attractions such as the Spanish Military Hospital, the Villa Zorayda Museum, and the St. Augustine Aquarium, you’d end up paying more overall for this tourist pass than you would for the individual tickets.

However, if you choose attractions like the Medieval Torture Museum, the Pirate & Treasure Museum, and the Lightner Museum, you’ll save over $25 off the standard admission prices for everything.

Another thing to keep in mind with this tourist pass is that it doesn’t include as many activities as the St. Augustine Tour Pass. If you want to enjoy a boat tour or a paranormal investigation, you’ll need to buy tickets for those services separately.
