This post summarizes the July weather in Dublin, Ireland, with tips on what to wear, as well as things to do.

As local tour guides, we know that July is one of the best times for walking tours, because there's usually a lot of great, sunny weather.

And I am not just a tour guide. I'm also a retired meteorologist who has found a new way to put my experiences to work.

July means that summer is here and in Dublin, the weather will feature comfortable days and cool nights.

What to Wear in Dublin in July?

With long hours of daylight this month and mild to warm temperatures, July is a great time to explore the outdoors.

Bring your sunglasses but dress in layers as late night and early morning temperatures can be chilly but the afternoons will tend to be mild to warm.

Also bring both short and long-sleeved shirts, warm socks, and water-resistant walking shoes or boots.

Jeans or other travel pants along with a lightweight jacket and a sweater will do.

Another great place to visit is Dollymount Beach, and there's no better time to head to the beach than on a nice, sunny day!

In addition to these activities, there are also usually at least a few notable concerts during the summer months.

Bohemian FC will also be playing two home games at Dalymount Park in July.
