June is one of the best months to visit Los Angeles as the weather is generally comfortable to warm with low humidity.
A couple of days, however, can be moderately humid near the end of the month.
Daytime high temperatures tend to be in the mid-70s F (23-24 C) early in the month warming into the low 80s F (27-28 C) by month's end.
A few of the warmer days generally reach into the upper 80s F to near 90 F (31-32C).
On average, about 1-2 days this month will reach 90 F (32.2 C) or more with temperatures of 100 F (37.8 C) or more occurring about once every 5 years.
The record high temperature for Los Angeles during June is 112 F (44.4 C).
Late night and early morning low temperatures average near 60 F (15-16 C) early in the month warming into the mid-60s (17-18 C) near the end of the month.
A few of the cooler mornings, especially early in the month will likely dip down into the mid-50s F (13-14 C).
The all-time record low for Los Angeles during June is 48 F (8.9 C).
HOW MUCH SUN AND RAIN?
Skies tend to be clear or at least partly sunny on 17-21 days during June.
Measurable rainfall only occurs about once every other year and heavy rains of 0.5 inches (13 mm) or more occur only once every decade.
In addition to the dry weather, daylight averages over 14 hours throughout the month.
