Where To Store Luggage in Union Station

Updated: 19 febrero 2024

This post provides several options for luggage storage in and around Union Station in Washington, DC including an option that will pick up and deliver your luggage to you.

WHERE TO STORE LUGGAGE IN UNION STATION

Union Station is the main (and really only) train station in Washington, DC.

Unfortunately, it does not have any luggage storage facilities. However, you may find some luck with Amtrak.

Ticketed Amtrak passengers can use the temporary bag storage for up to 24 hours at the rate of $10 per item.

If you are not traveling on Amtrak, you can still use this option for $20 per item.

This is not self-service, so the luggage is left at the Checked Bag counter.

A few companies have created apps that let you, the traveler, find a local place that will store your bag.

They find convenient locations for travelers, such as souvenir and gift shops or convenience stores, that are open early and close late and have the capacity and the security to hold and secure your luggage.
