BEFORE YOU BUY

A tourist pass is a service that allows you to save money on a variety of popular attractions.

Some passes offer one low price for several different activities, while others provide a set number of locations you can visit over the course of a few days.

Nashville City Passes

Using these services can help you to save upwards of 50% or more on admission prices.

In this section, we will explain the difference between each type of pass and help you find the right one for your needs.

NOTE: CityPASS does not currently offer a tourist pass in Nashville. That said, there are several excellent alternatives you should absolutely consider!

All-Inclusive

This tourist pass provides free admission to several different attractions. Instead of paying for individual tickets, you’ll pay one flat price for each day that you decide to use the service.

All-Inclusive City Pass

An all-inclusive pass must be used on 1, 2, or 3 consecutive days, which means that if you start using a 3-day pass on a Monday, your pass will become inactive after Wednesday.

There is no need to pre-purchase or reserve tickets ahead of time because you can just choose your activities as you go and present your pass upon arrival.

You’ll have a total of 12 months to use this pass, so you can purchase it ahead of time without fear.

The all-inclusive pass is especially useful for visitors who plan to see a lot of notable attractions. The more you use it for, the more money you will save.

If you’re only planning on a few activities, this might not be the best discount option in Nashville.

Choose Your Attractions

If you’d rather pay for only the specific locations you plan to visit, the choose your attractions pass may be the best fit.

Also known as a flex pass, this option will let you pay one flat price for a set number of activities.

You can choose 3, 4, 5, 6, or 7 different attractions at a time.

Pick Your Attractions Pass

As with the all-inclusive pass, there is no need to pre-purchase or reserve tickets ahead of time, so you can just go wherever you want and use this pass at your leisure.

Unlike some of the other Nashville tourist passes, this type does not need to be used on consecutive days.

Instead, you’ll have a total of 30 days to enjoy the benefits of a choose your attraction pass once it has been activated.

Although the pass will only remain active for about a month, you’ll actually have a full 12 months to activate it, so you can buy it well ahead of your trip to Nashville if you wish.

The Choose Your Attractions Pass is a great option if you’re only planning to see a few specific attractions.

Your savings will depend on which activities you choose to do, but there’s no pressure to get out there and use the pass as soon as possible.

Preset Packages

Rather than offering access to dozens of attractions, this option will let you pay one flat price for a handful of the most popular activities in Nashville.

Nashville Attraction Passes

In addition to providing free admission to at least 2-3 different sites, each pass also includes discounts on a variety of services.

While some preset packages will allow you to choose a certain number of things to do, others are very specific about which attractions you can visit.

Unlike the other options on our list, you may be required to reserve your tickets ahead of time for some activities.

If you’re in the market for a few specific attractions, this might be one of the best discount options in Nashville.

You won’t have the option to pick and choose from a list of several different things to do, but these packages typically include some of the most popular activities throughout the city.

THE NASHVILLE SIGHTSEEING DAY PASS

There is currently only one all-inclusive pass available in Nashville.

Things to Consider

This tourist pass can be purchased up to 12 months ahead of time, giving you the opportunity to buy it during one of their many sales throughout the year and get a much better deal.

Nashville is known as Music City USA, so it makes sense that there are a lot of tours and attractions included that focus on this subject.

As a result, this should be a pretty valuable pass for anyone who wants to learn more about the various musicians who made a name for themselves in this city.

This tourist pass also includes admission to several notable historic sites in Nashville.

If you have an interest in American history, this is a great way to save money on attractions like Andrew Jackson’s Hermitage, Belle Meade Mansion, Cheekwood Estate, and more.

THE NASHVILLE SIGHTSEEING FLEX PASS

Much like their all-inclusive pass, this service includes more than 20 attractions to choose from.

This pass also offers several discounts at popular businesses in Nashville.

That being said, rather than offering unlimited access to all of the activities they provide, they will give you the opportunity to choose between 3, 4, 5, 6, or 7 different attractions.

The Nashville Sightseeing Flex Pass is active for a total of 30 days, so you don’t have to rush to use it.

You can also pick your activities as you go, which means you don’t have to pre-order or purchase any tickets ahead of time.

All you have to do is show your pass at the ticket office in order to get in for free.

Here are some of the most popular attractions included:

NOTE: All the special offers available with their day pass are also included with the flex pass.

Things to Consider

As you can probably tell by the pricing structure, this pass becomes more valuable depending on how many attractions you purchase.

While you’ll be paying an average of about $30 per activity with the 3 choice option, the price per attraction falls to less than $25 at the highest tier.

How Does the Nashville Sightseeing Pass Work

If you’re only interested in a few specific activities, this may be the best way to save money on them.

For instance, if you’re interested in visiting locations like the Country Music Hall of Fame and the Musician’s Hall of Fame, this is a good way to save money on those particular attractions without also paying for access to locations you don’t even plan to visit.

Visitors who want to learn more about Nashville will definitely want to consider using this pass for some of the history tours and admission to historic landmarks in the area.

That said, it is important to note that some of the activities included with this pass are $10-$20 on their own.

In order to save as much money as possible, we recommend that you don’t use this service for these lower-cost attractions.

PRESET PACKAGES

There are a few different options to choose from when it comes to this tourist pass option, and this section will cover each of the most popular preset packages.

In addition to pricing and a list of included attractions, we will also provide some advice to help you figure out whether or not this is the best discount service for your needs.

That said, if you're looking for a pass that covers admission for these specific tours and/or museums, it's definitely worth considering.

This would also be an excellent choice for anyone who will either be in the city multiple times per year or live in the area.

Music City Total Access Pass

While this is technically a preset package pass, you will have the opportunity to pick a total of 6 included attractions from a list of over 30 different activities.

The first 4 attractions are more valuable services, while your last 2 options are typically less expensive, but still popular locations.

There are a few different ways to purchase the pass, including a will-call option, shipment, and a vacation package that pairs your pass with reservations at a hotel of your choice.

If you choose to use this pass, you can save up to 54% on various different attractions in Nashville.

The biggest difference to note with this service is that reservations are required at some of the locations you can pick to visit for free.

The Music City Total Access Pass is valid for an entire year, so you can purchase it and make your plans well ahead of time to ensure that you won’t miss out on any of the fun.

Things to Consider

As you can see, this pass includes several activities that aren’t offered by either the all-inclusive or choose your attractions pass.

If you’re interested in visiting the Ryman Auditorium or Jack Daniels Distillery, this will probably be a better discount option than some of the other services listed in this post.

Even if you don’t plan on using the additional discounts included with this tourist pass, it’s still one of the best deals in all of Nashville.

At a price of only $129, each activity will only cost a fraction of the original price to enjoy.

Depending on which attractions you choose, this has the potential to add up to incredible savings.

Here is an example of how much money you could save:

  • Nashville Shores Waterpark | $50
  • Treetop Adventure Park | $50
  • Old Town Trolley Tour | $47
  • Belle Meade Mansion Tour | $32

That said, you can also use this preset package pass to enjoy a cruise or a hop-on-hop-off tour.

Whether you’re interested in sightseeing or learning more about the history of music in this town, this is sure to be a useful service.

Nashville Music Attraction Pass

With only 6 specific attractions included, it’s fair to say that this is a true preset package pass.

Although they don’t offer as many activities as their competitors, this service does guarantee free admission to some of the most popular locations in Nashville.

You’ll also have plenty of time to use the pass, as it is valid for an entire year.

Although you will have to make reservations for each activity, you can do so at any point within 24 hours of your planned departure.

Here is a list of the included attractions:

Prices & Other Details

  • There is no hotel pick-up included
  • No additional meals are included
  • Tour guides won’t be available for each attraction

Things to Consider

Although most of the Nashville tourist passes offer admission to sites such as the Country Music Hall of Fame and Madame Tussauds, this is one of the only ways to save money on tickets for the Johnny Cash Museum and the Ryman Auditorium.

If you’re interested in the history of American music, these are two locations that you’ll definitely want to visit while you’re in the neighborhood.

With only 6 attractions, this preset package pass might not give you as big of a discount as you can expect from other tourist passes.

Even so, if these activities fit your itinerary quite well, you may want to consider the Nashville Music Attraction Pass over some of the other services available in this city.

Sweet Magnolia Nashville Attraction Pass

Reservations must be made for each major activity, and you will be given a voucher for each ticket.

Here is a list of everything included with the Sweet Magnolia Nashville Attraction Pass:

Prices & Other Details

  • Hard Rock Cafe/AJ’s Good Time Bar voucher good for $15 off

NOTE: This pass is not currently available as of January 2023.

Things to Consider

This pass is still a pretty good way to save money in Nashville, and while it has the same attractions as the Nashville Music Attraction Pass it is cheaper for children if you're bringing more of them along.

While most of their competitors offer several attractions related to the musical history of this city, this service is almost exclusively devoted to covering that subject.

If you’re living in or around Nashville, this might be the best way to save money while enjoying a handful of the most popular activities in the area.

Is there a Nashville CityPASS?

No, there's no Nashville CityPASS at present.

Usually, such a pass offers access to pre-selected attractions, with a choice of extras from a further list.

However, Nashville has a different offering known as the Music City Total Access Pass.

This pass is ideal for active travelers, particularly first-time visitors, aiming to explore Nashville's top attractions such as Madame Tussauds Nashville, the Grand Ole Opry, or the city's most popular downtown Nashville sites.

It provides full admission, even allowing a self-guided tour at some venues, giving you the beating heart of Tennessee culture at your fingertips.

This pass could be your ticket to Tennessee's cherished culture, music, and cuisine.

Combo Packages

This section will cover some of the best combination deals available in Nashville.

These discounts provide access to multiple attractions for one low cost.

While you won't usually save as much as you would with a tourist pass, you'll at least be saving some money!

Tiqets Combos

This company often provides combo deals that cover the cost of 2 or more activities for a marginally lower price when combined.

You can usually expect a discount of between 10% - 20% off each ticket or service.
