We no longer offer this tour. However, we are working on a great audio tour of the Mission District! Check it out soon!

With the oldest standing building in the city, the Mission District is a neighborhood with a rich culture and tradition dating back to the Spanish missionaries who first began permanently building and settling in the area. Home to California’s first professional baseball stadium (1868!) and a vibrant punk scene from the 1970s and 80s, the Mission is slowly changing face as one of the gentrifying areas of the city. The area has a strong Latin American population, quintessential Californian palm trees, and more sunshine than most neighborhoods in the city, thus giving it a more tropical feel than any other part of the city. We’ll check out the colorful murals, the local startups, and the long history that make this neighborhood one of your necessary stops while in San Francisco!
On the tour, we’ll see:
  • Mission Dolores
  • Mission murals
  • Victoria Theater
  • The Roxie
and much more!
