Nashville is a competitive city that loves its sports! November is a great time to catch a game since there are several teams playing during the month.

It is also an excellent way to spend the day with the family.

3. Catch the CMA Music Awards

Each year in Nashville, for nearly 60 years, the Country Music Association Awards celebrates the best and brightest in country music.

Awards are given out for male and female vocalists of the year, entertainer of the year, song of the year, and more.

You're likely to see the biggest names in the biz walking the red carpet and performing on stage.

This year's festival takes place at Bridgestone Arena on November 8th.

5. Take a Sightseeing Tour

November is the perfect time to explore Nashville.

Downtown Nashville is easily walkable, and we suggest starting your trip with a walking tour, whether you take a pay-what-you-like tour or lead yourself on our self-guided walking tour.

This is the first year for this new Nashville Festival.

If you're a fan of coffee, you might enjoy the offerings of Nashville's top coffee roasters.

They'll have coffee, tea, and food along with music by some of the best bands in Nashville.

Activities take place at Marathon Music Works on November 4th.

7. Enjoy the Music City Bacon and Barrel Festival

This annual festival brings two delicious treats to guests - bacon and barrel-aged spirits.

Your ticket "includes unlimited samples of signature bacon-themed dishes and 15 whiskey samples".

Stick around to see who wins the Golden Hog award for favorite participating restaurant.

There's also live music, cocktails, photo ops, and more.

8. Go to the Christmas Village

Nashville's annual Christmas Village event will be returning to the Fairgrounds in Nashville from November 10th-12th.

If you're looking to get some of your holiday shopping done as early as possible, this is an excellent opportunity to find unique and interesting gifts for the whole family.

There will also be opportunities to take photos with Santa, so feel free to bring your kids along for the experience.

9. See Some of Nashville’s Top Attractions

Taking a trip to Nashville in November is the perfect opportunity to see the city’s top attractions with less crowding than during the busy season of summer.

History buffs will enjoy Andrew Jackson’s Hermitage.

Music lovers can tour the Grand Ole Opry and Country Music Hall of Fame.

Visit Zoolumination

In November, the Nashville Zoo opens its annual Chinese Festival of Lights called Zoolumination.

During this event, there are 500 custom silk lanterns dotted throughout the 60 acres of the zoo.

Several of these displays feature some of the popular animals you can see at the zoo, as well as holiday-themed scenes and a 200-foot-long dragon!

Zoolumination has taken place nightly from 5 pm - 9 pm and ticket prices have been the same as general admission – which is included with at least one Nashville tourist pass.
