Jog the Mall: Easy Running Tour of the Memorials

DC by Foot is proud to amp the pace and take our highly-rated walking tours on the run. Experience part of the 5 square mile National Mall as most DC residents do – on a jog. This tour is for all levels of runners and is not a high intensity run. There will be stops and we will run at an easy pace. All fitness levels are welcome!

The tour takes in the sites along the National Mall as we jog past with a few minutes to walk (no jogging inside a memorial!) through the memorials for us to continue the run onto the next site! We offer our running tours just like our walking tours, on a pay-what-you-like basis. Our expert, licensed Washington DC tour guide and avid jogger will take you on your run through the National Mall.

This is not an in-depth tour of the sites but rather a highlight version!

Sights we will cover on our Washington, DC Running Tour:

  • Lincoln Memorial
  • Vietnam Veterans Memorial
  • Korean War Veterans Memorial
  • Reflecting Pool
  • World War II Memorial
  • Washington Monument*
  • White House*
  • U.S. Capitol Building*
  • Smithsonian Museums*

*we do not enter these sights
