In the mood to party? Stay away from the pricey clubs and join the free street party at Harrah’s Carnaval Court.
This all-night dance party is outdoors with live music and DJs in the pedestrian-only street.
Drinks are available for purchase from the high-energy bartenders, who are constantly throwing bottles and making cocktails with impressive flair.
Get away from the Strip & Explore Chinatown
Several blocks to the west of the Strip, you’ll see the ornate gate to the Chinatown neighborhood.

If you're traveling to Vegas, chances are you'll get a glance of its newest attraction before you even reach your hotel room!
That said, this is definitely one of the more interesting things to see in Sin City. While tickets to the events that take place at this new venue are not free, you can always enjoy whatever they have on display at other times.
The MSG Sphere is illuminated every day and night, and they will have seasonal imagery for Halloween and Christmas, so this might be a fun activity to enjoy during certain holidays as well!
Fremont Street
If you want to see a little bit of everything Las Vegas has to offer for free, Fremont Street is the place to be.
This pedestrian avenue is home to the Slotzilla Zipline, holiday parade routes, free concerts, and free light shows.
Check the events calendar to see if a big-name artist is playing for free on one of the three open-air stages. The Viva Vision light shows light up the ceiling every night.
And if that isn’t enough, you can find the entrances to multiple casinos on Fremont Street.
Fall of Atlantis Show
The Fall of Atlantis is a special effects show at Caesars Forum Shops, featuring animatronic Greek gods.
King Atlas must decide which of his sons will rule Atlantis, and the family argument that ensues is anything but friendly.
The show is made up of fountains, music, sound, light, and fire effects.
Most people agree the experience is cheesy but enjoyable, as long as you stand close enough to the speakers to hear the dialogue.
You can see the show every day of the week and every hour between 11:00 am and 10:00 pm. Fridays and Saturdays include one extra show.
See the Famous Fountain Shows
Las Vegas is known for the Bellagio Fountains, and the fountains are most impressive at night!
Water jets and lights are choreographed to music, which is impressive against a backdrop of the dark sky.
Shows happen frequently every day of the week from early afternoon until midnight - check the website for their schedule.
Another fountain show that is just as impressive is the Mirage Volcano.
Here, you’ll see the tallest and loudest explosions and fireballs on the Las Vegas Strip, as the man-made volcano erupts every day at 8:00 pm, 9:00 pm, and 10:00 pm.

Lake of Dreams at Wynn
If you’re looking for a fountain show that is a bit more ethereal, look no further than the Lake of Dreams.
The waterfall that flows off of a manmade mountain is the backdrop for the fountain show that features 4,000 lights, holographics, music, and fog effects.
While you can grab a drink or have dinner right next to the lake, you don’t need to spend a penny to watch the show. There is an open terrace to relax on during the nightly show.
The Lake of Dreams show runs every 30 minutes between 8:00 pm and 12:30 am.
Bellagio Conservatory & Botanical Garden
The Botanical Garden at the Bellagio truly is a work of art.
Each season - Chinese New Year, Spring, Summer, Harvest, and Holidays - have a new landscaping design with flowers, plants, and other art pieces.
The Conservatory can get quite busy during the day, so at night on weeknights is the best time to visit if you don’t want to fight the crowds to see the beautiful flowers.

You might not be in Paris, but the Eiffel Tower in Las Vegas offers an excellent experience and impressive light show.
From the ground, you can watch the tower light up with a flashy choreographed show.
Then, you can go up the replica to the observation deck to see the rest of the city.

Circus Circus and the Adventuredome Theme Park
Add some fun and adrenaline to your vacation at Circus Circus.

The ride is approximately 8-12 minutes long and takes you over the lit-up Vegas Strip, including the New York-New York skyline and fountain shows.

Cirque du Soleil
One of the most popular Las Vegas shows is Cirque du Soleil. From graceful aerial silk artists to high-flying trapeze acrobats, they have captivated the world.

There are multiple troupes under the Cirque du Soleil umbrella who have partnered with different music artists to create multiple unique versions of their show in order to offer something for everyone.
High Roller Observation Wheel
It seems like there are endless opportunities to see Las Vegas from an observation deck.
But the High Roller is the only observation wheel in the world that stands at 550 feet tall at its peak.
The High Roller has 28 pods with enough room for the whole family.
It takes 30 minutes to make one rotation - a perfect amount of time to take pictures and keep the kids occupied with the view of all the Strip’s lights.

Fly LINQ Zipline
If you’re already in the vicinity of the LINQ Promenade and High Roller, check out the Fly LINQ zipline.
Zoom over the heads of pedestrians on the promenade below in an upright seated position or while on your stomach like a superhero.
As long as you’re 40” inches tall, you can ride the zipline! Riders under 13 must have an accompanying rider who is 13 or older.
Pinball Hall of Fame
The world’s largest collection of working pinball machines is in the Pinball Hall of Fame and museum.
This is the perfect place for a competitive or gaming family. You’ll find rows upon rows of pinball machines ready to be played.
It is free to enter the Hall of Fame, but you’ll need some cash to play.
Since it is not-for-profit, all of the proceeds from gameplay are donated to the local Salvation Army. You can do some good while having fun!
Play from 11:00 am to 11:00 pm any day of the week.
KISS Mini Golf
A family competition as old as time - everyone can have fun at mini-golf. And since it is Las Vegas, this mini-golf game is glow-in-the-dark and KISS-themed.
Try to put under par through neon guitars and platform shoes.
You’ll also pass by actual memorabilia from the band, like drum stools from the 1976 tour, signed albums, and personal guitars from band members.
KISS Mini Golf is open until midnight every day of the week and offers a discount to holders of the Las Vegas Bite Card.
M&Ms World
Chocolate lovers from all over flock to the Las Vegas M&Ms World. It holds four floors of chocolate, memorabilia, souvenirs, and displays.
You can print customized M&Ms in different colors and with your own message or see a replica of the M&Ms-sponsored NASCAR car.
There is also a 3D movie on the third floor featuring the candy mascots.
The store is open every day of the week from 9:00 am to midnight.

There are 3 main ziplines on or close to the Las Vegas Strip.
Depending on where you spend the rest of your evening, you could choose the SlotZilla Zipline on Fremont Street, Fly LINQ on the Promenade, or the VooDoo Zipline that is just down the highway from the Strip.
- Fly LINQ - This outdoor zipline flies you 12 stories above the ground straight toward the High Roller Observation Wheel. You can also choose how you are seated as you fly.
- VooDoo - This is Las Vegas’ highest zipline at 50 stories in the air. Your flight will cover over 800 feet in length and reach 33 miles per hour. This is also the only zipline that sends you on a ride back to your starting point.
- SlotZilla - You have a choice of flying in a seated, upright position or lying on your stomach like Superman. This zipline is popular as it is on Fremont Street and you can zoom over the other pedestrians on the walk.

Axe Monkeys in Vegas is open from 10:00 am - 10:00 pm, and you can get some unlimited ax-throwing time for one hour or go all-out with a ticket for two hours.
Red Rock Bowling Lanes
The tried-and-true group competition has a high-tech set of lanes for you and your group to enjoy. There are 72 bowling lanes available, which means there’s plenty of space.
