Cheap Hotels on the Las Vegas Strip

Most of these locations offer incredibly affordable hotel rooms because they are trying to draw guests in to spend some time in their casinos, so you can expect prices as low as $25-$35 per night.
It’s worth noting that most of the additional activities and attractions at each of these locations are available even to those who are not staying at their hotels.
In other words, if you want to spend the night somewhere cheap, you can always just walk to the other casinos in Las Vegas and enjoy many of their amenities, often including things like theatrical events, pools, restaurants and more.
Without further ado, let's take a look at the best cheap hotels on the Las Vegas strip!
1. The Linq
If you’re looking for one of the most affordable options with the most attractions and activities nearby, this might be one of the best hotels on our list.
This 4-star hotel often offers prices as low as $30 per night, and they offer a full-service spa, pool, and many other amenities.
Best of all, this hotel is located on the Linq Promenade, which is home to a lot of popular shops, restaurants, and activities such as the High Roller Observation Wheel, the Fly Linq Zipline, and more.
Some of these attractions are actually included at a discount with the Go City Las Vegas Pass, allowing you to save even more money while you’re staying at the Linq Hotel.
TIP: During the holidays, the Linq Promenade often lights up and welcomes entertainers to perform live for free.
This is the place to be for Christmas, whether you choose to stay here. It’s also an excellent option for families year-round.
2. South Point Hotel
This is far from the most well-known or popular hotels in Las Vegas, but there are a few reasons you might want to consider staying here.
Prices are a bit more expensive than some other locations at $50-$70 per night, but it’s still very affordable.
This hotel is home to 11 restaurants, one of which is their Garden Buffet, which is one of the most affordable buffets in Las Vegas at just $14.95 per person.
South Point Hotel also has a pool, free parking, a bowling alley, live shows, an arcade, casino, and many other excellent amenities.
3. Palms Casino & Resort
If you’re looking for another popular 4-star hotel, Palms Casino & Resort is one of the most affordable options, with prices ranging from $35-$75 on average.
Like most other Las Vegas hotels, the Palms also has a variety of amenities including a pool, 10 restaurants, live concerts/shows and more.
One of their restaurants is a buffet called A.Y.C.E. which is pretty highly rated. Prices start at just $24.99 per person, but they also offer weekly specials including lobster, crab, prime rib, and even a champagne brunch on weekends.
4. Excalibur Hotel & Casino
This is another affordably-priced hotel that you might want to consider.
While it’s not as popular as some of the other places in Las Vegas, it’s definitely one of the cheapest options on our list at $20-$30 a night.
As with some of the other affordable options, Excalibur also has a really nice and affordable buffet.
Although they’re only open for brunch from 8 am - 3 pm, they do have some of the best dishes at any low-price buffet in Las Vegas, including sushi and smoked brisket.
In addition to a variety of restaurants, they also have a pool with a waterslide, arcade room, casino, a full-service spa, and other amenities.
5. The Horseshoe (formerly Bally’s)
Much like other affordable locations on our list, this 4-star hotel is an excellent option for anyone working with a small budget, with prices as low as $10-$30 per night.
The Horseshoe is home to 9 restaurants, a pool, a casino, and other popular activities.
They’re also located right next to the Grand Bazaar shops, so if you’re planning to do a little shopping while you’re in Las Vegas, this might be a good place to stay.
Although they don’t have as many amenities as other hotels, The Horseshoe offers such low rates that you might want to consider staying here and walking to all the attractions of interest.
6. Luxor Hotel and Casino
Prices at this Las Vegas hotel are on par with their competitors, with rates starting at $20-$35 per night.
Much like other locations on the strip, Luxor has a large casino and many other attractions including a pool, spa, hair salon, and other nice services.
One of the nicer things about this hotel is their buffet, which offers a pizza station, omelets, slow- roasted beef, and other brunch favorites for just $28.99 per person.
Luxor also has 11 restaurants, so you won’t have to walk very far to enjoy a nice meal.
In addition to all the other activities you can enjoy here, they’re also home to several popular shows including Blue Man Group, Carrot Top, and America’s Got Talent.
This is also where you’ll find Titanic: The Artifact and Bodies: The Exhibition. The Go City Las Vegas Pass includes admission to most (if not all) of these shows and attractions at no extra cost.
7. Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino
This is another of the great budget hotels in Las Vegas, with rates starting at around $10 and running up to about $30 per night.
Although they only have a 3.5 star rating at the moment, this is still a popular place to stay.
One of the major draws to Rio is the fact that they host the World Series of Poker tournament, so if you’re a fan of the game, you might want to stay here.
Rio has 6 restaurants, a very nice pool, casino, night club, spa, sauna, and many other nice amenities. Considering the price, it’s actually surprising how much they offer!
8. MGM Grand Hotel & Casino
There are a lot of great reasons to consider staying at the MGM Grand, and they usually offer decent rates from $35-$55 per night.
That said, it should be noted that there are some nights when prices soar to over $1,000, so it will be important to check and make reservations ahead of time to ensure you get the best deal.
If you’re looking for some good food to eat, the MGM Grand Buffet offers a lot of great American cuisine including BBQ Ribs, Lasagna, Crab Legs, and more for just $27.99 per person.
Like pretty much every other major hotel in Las Vegas, this one also has a pool with a winding lazy river, a full-service spa, a large casino, 17 restaurants, and many other amenities and attractions.
This 4-star hotel is also home to several popular live shows including Cirque du Soleil, David Copperfield, and the Jabbawockeez.

9. Mirage
This hotel is home to one of the best pools in Las Vegas, complete with waterfalls, daybeds, and cabanas. They also have an adults only pool and a dolphin habitat where you can interact with dolphins.
The Mirage is also home to 10 restaurants, a nice casino, a sauna, full-service spa, and many other useful services/attractions.
Prices start at around $40 a night and run to around $75 on weekdays.
If you’re visiting on a weekend, you might find that it costs $100-$400 or more. To avoid the highest rates, make sure to book your stay during off-peak dates.
10. Golden Nugget
If you’re looking for a location close to the Fremont Street Experience, this is a great affordable option you might want to consider.
Prices range from $40-$70 on average, and even on peak dates they typically don’t charge much more than $200 a night.
The Golden Nugget is home to one of the best pools in Las Vegas. One of the most interesting features of this pool is a water slide that actually goes through the middle of a shark tank.
There are even areas near the shark tank where you can get a good look while swimming.
In addition to that, they also have an adults only pool, 9 restaurants, a casino, a nightclub, designer stores, a sauna, and many other amenities/services you might find very useful.
11. Sahara Las Vegas Hotel & Casino
This is another location where it’s important to pick the right time to visit if you want to get the best deal, because although they sometimes have prices as low as $10-$15, rooms can go for over $1,000 a night during peak seasons and dates.
The Sahara is home to not only one of the more luxurious pools in Las Vegas, but also one of the best restaurants: Bazaar Meat by José Andrés.
This highly rated steakhouse is an absolute must visit for anyone who loves a good cut of meat.
In addition to those attractions, the Sahara also offers facilities such as a casino, a full-service spa, 4 other restaurants, and they host a variety of live shows including Magic Mike.
12. Mandalay Bay
While prices can get pretty high during peak seasons and important dates, off-peak prices at this 4.5 star hotel are actually pretty reasonable at around $35-$65 per night.
Mandalay Bay is right next to Allegiant Stadium, home of the Las Vegas Raiders. Whether you’re a fan or you just want to catch a live NFL game, this is definitely the place to stay.
This hotel is also home to two of the best rooftop pools in Las Vegas. While one of these pools is open to any hotel guest, the other is adults only. Enjoy some of the best views in the city while enjoying a nice swim!
Mandalay Bay also hosts a variety of theatrical shows and concerts, including Michael Jackson ONE by Cirque du Soleil.
This is also where you’ll find the Shark Reef Aquarium, which is included at no extra cost with the Las Vegas Sightseeing Pass.
13. Park MGM Las Vegas
Just like the MGM Grand, this hotel is also reasonably priced at about $35-$75 per night on off-peak dates.
Even during peak seasons, prices rarely get over $700 for a room, which isn’t always the case for other affordable hotels in Las Vegas.
While the MGM Grand is billed as a more exciting experience, Park MGM is designed to be a little more quiet and laid back.
Even so, they still have plenty of amenities including 11 restaurants, 3 outdoor pools, a spa/sauna, and of course a casino.
This hotel is right across the street from the MGM Grand, so you’ll also have relatively easy access to all of the live shows and activities at that location.
14. Tropicana Casino & Resort
Located right next to the MGM Grand, this is yet another often affordable hotel right on the Las Vegas Strip.
Prices range from $25-$70 per night during off-peak dates, but prices can get up over $1,000 during special events or peak seasons.
The Tropicana is home to several popular theatrical shows, and they also host two of the popular entertainers in Las Vegas: Rich Little and Murray the Magician.
This hotel has one of the nicer pools in Las Vegas, and they even offer swim-up blackjack games. Every day, the Tropicana pool has happy hour pricing on certain beers, cocktails, and mimosas.
In addition to those amenities, you will also find 7 restaurants, a casino, full-service spa, and a decent buffet breakfast.
Best Hotels in Las Vegas for Couples
This section covers some of the best hotels for couples, including adult only hotels in Las Vegas.
If you’re looking for a place with a few more amenities, nicer rooms, and even more entertainment/restaurant options, consider one of the following hotels.
Although you will find that most of these locations do offer off-peak pricing between $30-$60 per night, their off-peak periods are much shorter than at some of the more affordable hotels in Las Vegas.
From Thursday - Tuesday, you can usually expect to pay somewhere in the neighborhood of $150-$600 per night, and even more if the hotel is hosting or located nearby a major event.
NOTE: Some hotels that are good for couples do not offer discounted rates on weekdays, and these locations typically charge between $80-$130 per night.
1. Caesar’s Palace
This hotel is a staple of the Las Vegas Strip, and it’s right next to higher-end locations such as the Venetian and Bellagio.
While they do offer off-peak pricing of around $40-$80 per night, the price from Thursday - Tuesday hovers between $150-$780 for a room.
There are a lot of great reasons to stay at Caesar’s Palace. Not only is this casino and resort home to two of the best restaurants in Las Vegas, they also have one of the best buffets as well!
Guests will have the opportunity to visit the Garden of the Gods, which is a Greek-themed pool with excellent views of the city. They also have the Venus pool, which is of course adults only.
The Colosseum is their theater, and it hosts some of the best entertainers in the world. This is one of those venues that tends to attract big names like Rod Stewart, Garth Brooks, Sting, and even comedians like Jerry Seinfeld.
As if that weren’t enough, Caesar’s Palace is right across the street from the Bellagio fountain, so it’s one of the best places to stay if you want to see that attraction.
2. Circa Resort & Casino
This might not be one of those names that leaps out at you, but Circa is actually the first entirely adults-only resort and casino in Las Vegas.
It’s also quite close to the Fremont Street Experience, so you can rest assured there will be plenty of activities to enjoy in the area, making this one of the best hotels on Fremont Street.
This is also one of the better new hotels in Las Vegas, as it opened up just a few years ago in 2020.
One of the best elements of this hotel is the fact that they have 6 pools, including the Stadium Swim, which sits beneath a massive 40 ft x 143 ft screen that displays sports in high definition.
The Circa Resort & Casino is also home to one of the best restaurants in Las Vegas, Barry’s Downtown Prime. If you’re looking for a good steakhouse, it’ll be difficult to beat this popular restaurant.
Prices range from $80-$120 during the off-peak periods, and on weekends or other notable dates you can expect a room to cost around $200-$450 per night.
3. Flamingo Las Vegas Hotel & Casino
This is another hotel that tends to charge a lot more on weekends and other peak dates, but during weekdays the price for a room can drop down to around $10-$30 per night.
One of the big draws of this location is their pools; the Beach Club pool is a family-friendly option with water slides and a retro design, while the GO Pool Day Club is adults only.
In addition to their pools, this is also one of the few major adult only hotels in Las Vegas. The Flamingo also has a restaurant, 5 bars, a casino, full-service spa, sauna, and other attractions.
Like many other hotels and resorts in the area, they also host a lot of theatrical performances and entertainers including Wayne Newton, Piff the Magic Dragon, and RuPaul’s Drag Race.
4. Wynn Hotel & Casino
This is one of the nicer hotels in Las Vegas, and as a result, even the off-peak pricing is a bit high at around $115-$175 per night.
Although they don’t have as many peak dates as some competitors, there are weekends and other notable periods when prices range from $225 to over $1,000 for a room.
One of the biggest draws of the Wynn Hotel & Casino is all of their excellent restaurants. They house 6 of the best restaurants in Las Vegas, including several great fine dining options.
As if that weren’t enough, they also have one of the best buffets in the whole city!
The Wynn also has four of the nicer pools in Las Vegas, including 46 cabanas with a variety of services including massage tables, bars, and even blackjack tables.
5. The Westin Las Vegas Hotel & Spa
If you’re looking for a relatively no-frills experience at a higher-end hotel, this might be one of the better options.
Although prices at the Westin usually range from $130-$210 per night, there are peak dates when the cost of a room can balloon to over $1,000.
This is one of the hotels of choice for anyone who wants to escape the noise of slot machines without traveling too far from the Las Vegas Strip, because they actually don’t have a casino at the Westin.
No, technically this location is not directly on the strip, but it is a very short walk from several popular casinos and resorts.
As with most hotels in the area, the Westin also has a nice pool, a full-service spa, a sauna, massage tables, and other popular amenities.
If you're coming to Las Vegas with your partner, this is a great choice to avoid the draw of gambling and enjoy some peace and quiet away from the hustle and bustle of the rest of the strip.
6. Red Rock Casino Resort & Spa
This is another excellent mid-range hotel that offers rates as low as $65-$100 on weekdays and other off-peak dates, making it one of the lower priced options in this section.
That said, peak pricing can reach $700-$800 per night, so make sure you check before booking.
One of the nicest attractions at this hotel is the Sandbar pool, which is actually a huge complex including 8 pools, several hot tubs, poolside gaming, bars, and other services.
In addition to a full casino, they also have an arcade room, a bowling alley, a bingo room, pool tables, and they host a variety of live theatrical performances.
If you're looking for a resort offering a wide range of activities for couples, this is an excellent option.
7. ARIA Resort & Casino
Located near Dolby Live and connected to a shopping center, this is a nice mid-range hotel with dozens of restaurants, a casino, spa, sauna, massage table, and other popular amenities.
Depending on when you plan to visit, you can expect off-peak prices to range from $65-$130, while peak prices can reach as high as over $1,000 per night.
ARIA Resort & Casino has one of the best adults only pools in Las Vegas, and due to its size it’s somewhat exclusive with reservations required and no general admission.
This is one of the best places to stay if you’re planning to attend an event at Dolby Live, and it’s also close to the T-Mobile Arena, home of the Las Vegas Golden Knights.
What better way to cap off the night with a loved one than by enjoying a fine meal in one of the excellent restaurants at the ARIA resort and following that up with a dip in their adults only pool?

1. Bellagio Hotel & Casino
There’s a reason this is one of the premiere hotels of Las Vegas, and that’s both its location and the popular attractions inside.
One of the biggest draws is the Bellagio fountains, which you will undoubtedly remember seeing in countless films set in this city.
The Bellagio has three of the best restaurants in Las Vegas, including two with an open air view of the fountains. Most of these are fine dining options, but they also have one of the best buffets in the area.
This hotel also has one of the nicest pool complexes in Las Vegas, with a total of 5 pools and dozens of cabanas where you can enjoy a variety of non-alcoholic drinks, fruit plates, and even get a massage.
In addition to the fountains, this is also where you’ll find the Bellagio Conservatory & Botanical Gardens, which they decorate with a new theme each season.
They also have one of the best shows in Vegas, “O” by Cirque du Soleil.

2. Encore at Wynn
This is actually a separate hotel from the Wynn, although it is in the same complex. Since it is so close, this location actually shares all the same attractions and restaurants you’d have access to from the Wynn.
That said, there are a few reasons to consider staying here instead, not the least of which is their Encore Beach Club.
This pool area includes an all-night pool with a live DJ performing throughout the week, and it’s one of the best pools in Las Vegas.
This hotel is also home to the Encore Theater, which routinely hosts some of the best musicians and comedians in the world, including popular performers such as Lionel Richie and comics like Jim Gaffigan.
Prices start out at about $120-$180 during off-peak dates, but they can get as high as $600-$1,100 per night on weekends and other busy periods.
3. Four Seasons Hotel
This is a brand that is synonymous with quality accommodations around the world, and their location in Las Vegas is no different.
Of course, since this is a 5-star hotel, you can expect to pay a hefty price of $215-$380 on off-peak dates and well over $1,500 per night on peak dates.
Located right on the strip next to Mandalay Bay, the Four Seasons has 2 restaurants, a lazy river and pool, a full-service spa, massage room, and many other nice amenities.
In addition to those features, this hotel is also very close to the Bali Hai Golf Club, the Bellagio fountains, and the Linq Promenade.
The Four Seasons is a more upscale hotel, so they don’t focus as much on attractions and activities.
Instead, they attempt to provide the nicest rooms and best service in Las Vegas, and many would say they accomplish that goal quite well.
4. The Venetian Resort
Located just a block from the Bellagio fountains, the Linq Promenade, and other notable attractions on the Las Vegas Strip, this is one of the nicer hotels in sin city.
While you can sometimes score a room here for as little as $65 per night, you can usually expect it to cost $120-$250 or more.
On peak dates, they will charge anywhere from $600-$900, which is actually on the lower end of luxury hotel pricing.
In addition to their prime location, the Venetian is also connected to the convention center and they have 20 restaurants, 4 pools, a sauna, spa, art gallery, casino, and many other amenities.
5. NoMad Las Vegas
This 5-star hotel is located in the same complex as Park MGM, so you’ll be able to access a lot of the same amenities and attractions in that area.
It’s also right on the Las Vegas Strip and close to notable locations such as the Bellagio fountains and Linq Promenade.
The NoMad has one of the nicest rooftop pools in Las Vegas, and it’s actually designed to be more of an escape from the noise and action of the city.
If you’re looking for a quiet and relaxed time at the pool, this is one of the best options on the strip.
Although they only have 2 restaurants, the Park MGM has another 11, so there will be plenty of great food options within walking distance of your room.
Prices range from $90-$220 per night on off-peak dates, but you can expect to pay $600-$800 for a room during peak dates.
6. Nobu Hotel at Caesars Palace
If you’re looking for the creme de la creme, this is one of the most luxury hotels in Las Vegas, and the prices reflect that. Although you can sometimes get a room for as little as $110 a night, it’s not uncommon for prices to rise over $1,000 just on weekends.
During some dates, you can expect to pay over $10,000 per night!
The Nobu Hotel is located in the same complex as Caesar’s Palace, giving you easy access to all of their excellent attractions, entertainment, pools, and of course restaurants.
One of the best restaurants in Las Vegas is also named Nobu, and it’s located in this complex. If you’re looking for the best Japanese fine dining in the city, this might be your best bet!
