27 Best Hotels on the Las Vegas Strip

Updated: September 14, 2023

This post provides tips on where to stay in Las Vegas.

We include information about the best hotels with pools, luxury locations, and of course the most affordable options.

Overview

If you’re looking for a nice place to stay while visiting Las Vegas, there are a lot of different hotels to choose from.

Most of the casinos in this city also have a hotel, and they often provide excellent prices for a room to draw visitors into the casino.

Even if you don’t plan to spend any money on casino games, you might still want to consider staying at one of these hotels.

And the reason is they are often close to other popular activities in Las Vegas.

That said, there are also hotels that don’t have a casino or other attractions, and these locations can often cost a bit more.

This is because they offer the opportunity to escape the lights and noise of the Las Vegas Strip.

Most (if not all) Las Vegas hotels have at least one pool, and some of them are open to the public while others are only available to guests staying at the hotel.

This post will include notes about some of the best pools in Las Vegas whenever possible.

In addition to that attraction, you can usually expect the best hotels in Las Vegas to include the following amenities/services:

  • Restaurants
  • Bowling Alleys
  • Sauna/Spa
  • Pool Cabanas
  • Lazy River Pools
  • Water Slides
  • Arcade Rooms
  • Theatrical Shows
  • And more!

Whenever possible, this post will include information about how to save money on popular shows and other entertainment and attractions either near or in each hotel/casino listed.

NOTE: Most of these hotels will actually be very expensive on a few specific days each month, typically in relation to either a special event nearby or an expected busy weekend.

Thankfully, there are plenty of affordable options, so you should be able to find a good alternative if your preferred hotel is charging too much.

Cheap Hotels on the Las Vegas Strip

This section will cover some of the best affordable hotels in Las Vegas.

As with most hotels in this city, you can expect them to also have casinos, restaurants, pools, and other activities.

Most of these locations offer incredibly affordable hotel rooms because they are trying to draw guests in to spend some time in their casinos, so you can expect prices as low as $25-$35 per night.

It’s worth noting that most of the additional activities and attractions at each of these locations are available even to those who are not staying at their hotels.

In other words, if you want to spend the night somewhere cheap, you can always just walk to the other casinos in Las Vegas and enjoy many of their amenities, often including things like theatrical events, pools, restaurants and more.

Without further ado, let's take a look at the best cheap hotels on the Las Vegas strip!

While the MGM Grand is billed as a more exciting experience, Park MGM is designed to be a little more quiet and laid back.

Even so, they still have plenty of amenities including 11 restaurants, 3 outdoor pools, a spa/sauna, and of course a casino.
