The Boston Massacre and the Boston Tea Party took place here. Samuel Adams, Benjamin Franklin, and George Washington all walked these streets. Join us to discover the people, events, and moments that transformed Boston into the birthplace of the American Revolution.

  • Meeting Point: Meet your guide outside the Park Street T Station on the eastern edge of Boston Common. (map).
  • Ending Point: The tour ends at Faneuil Hall.
  • Duration/Distance: The tour is approximately 2 hours. Tour distance is approximately 1 mile (1.6K)
  • Important Note: All Freedom Trail sites are viewed from the outside. This tour does not include admission to buildings, museums, or attractions.

CANCELLATION POLICY: Our tours operate rain or shine. If severe weather affects the tour, we'll contact you by email and text with available options, including rescheduling or a refund if necessary.

If your plans change, simply reply to your confirmation email. We offer a full refund with at least 24 hours' notice before your tour begins. Unfortunately, we cannot issue refunds for cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled start time. If you booked through a third-party booking platform, please cancel directly through the platform where you made your reservation.

Need to change your date instead? We offer flexible rescheduling and are often able to move your reservation to another available tour—even on short notice, subject to availability.
