Daytime high temperatures during February tend to be near 58-60 F (about 15 C) early in the month, warming gradually to 63-65 F (17-18 C) near the end of the month.

A few of the warmer afternoons, especially late in the month, can reach up near 75 F (24 C).

Late night and early morning low temperatures tend to be around 42-44 F (6-7 C) early in the month, warming slowly to 47-49 F (8-9 C) by the end of the month.

What to Wear in Charleston During February?

Early Spring to occasionally winter-like weather prevails here most of the month.

A mix of early Spring and Winter attire works best this month so you should pack long-sleeve tops, a few sweaters, jeans or other long pants, boots plus a medium-weight jacket or coat.

You might also consider a light windbreaker for the few warmer days later in the month. 


Things to Do in Charleston During February

Although spring is fast approaching, the weather will still be quite cold in Charleston at this time of year.

That said, if you're willing to brave the chill, you might want to consider taking a pay-what-you-wish walking tour.

If you're looking for indoor activities, there will be plenty to choose from. One of the biggest theatrical events in Charleston this February will be the Off-Broadway musical Aladdin.

Hockey fans will be happy to hear that the South Carolina Stingrays will be playing multiple home games this February at North Charleston Coliseum.
