Our Original San Francisco Free Tour takes you on a quick walk through our favorite parts of San Francisco. We start with the earliest history of San Francisco in the 1700s, walk into the days of the Wild West of the 1800s, the immigrants and fisherman of the 1900s, through to the modern technology city of today.

We will check out the great culture, food, street art, and the amazing hills of San Francisco (but don't worry--almost the entire tour is on flat ground!) And of course, we'll go to the most Instagram-worthy photo stops.

Where: We meet at 246 Powell St, near the corner of Geary Street & Powell Street, across from Union Square and the famous Cable Cars of San Francisco. Use our Google map for directions to the tour starting point. Look for your guide with the orange shirt.
Duration: The tour lasts about 2.5 hours, including a rest stop at a local Italian café. The total walking is just over two miles (3.2km).

Cost: This is a name-your-own-price tour. That means the tour is free to take, and at the end of the tour, you decide how much the tour was worth to you. If you are concerned about how much to give your guide, most people tip about $15, but you are welcome to provide any amount you are comfortable with! Our guides are happy to take cash or credit card, whatever is most convenient to you!
