You can expect these outings to last a full day (10-15 hours). This includes the round-trip ride plus time to hike.

While there aren’t as many companies offering this kind of service, there are a few options you might want to consider.

Beyond the obvious advantages of flying over the Grand Canyon in a plane, these tours also take less time to enjoy.

Prices are typically a bit more expensive than Grand Canyon bus tours, but still fairly reasonable at a rate of around $200 per person. Transportation from your hotel to the airport and back is included with all tickets.

With such a short travel time, this is an excellent option for visitors who don’t want to devote an entire day to this activity.

This is one of the more affordable Grand Canyon helicopter tours on our list, and it’s also one of the shortest trips available at just 4 hours in length.

That said, it’s also one of the most no-frills options on our list, with no landings made or any other additional services.

What you will receive is hotel pick-up and drop-off, a helicopter ride, and audio commentary as you soar over the Grand Canyon.

Grand Canyon Rafting Tours From Las Vegas

If you’ve ever wanted to enjoy a whitewater rafting adventure, what better place than the Grand Canyon?

There aren’t a lot of companies offering this type of activity, but thankfully, some of them include transportation from Las Vegas.

With both the transportation and whitewater rafting included, the average duration of these services is around 15 hours, so you should prepare for a full-day activity. Prices are typically between $600-$700 per person.

Here are basic driving directions. Use Google Maps for detailed directions.

To the South Rim (Google Maps)

  • Take Highway 93 south to Kingman, AZ
  • From Kingman, take I-40 east to Williams, AZ
  • From Williams, take Highway 64 north to the South Rim

To the West Rim (Google Maps)

  • Take Highway 93 south to Kingman, AZ
  • Continue on US-93 S to Mohave County
  • Follow Pierce Ferry Rd to E Diamond Bar Rd to the West Rim

Las Vegas Discount Tourist Passes

There are currently 2 different tourist passes offered in Las Vegas which include tickets for a Grand Canyon bus tour.

These all-inclusive passes are sold for between 2-5 days at a time, with the price per day going as low as $66 for adults.

Given that you’ll probably spend at least one of those days visiting the Grand Canyon, that means the price you pay will be close to 50% off the average cost of the service ($66 instead of $119).
