Bike and Roll

If you’re looking for another reputable company, Bike and Roll offers consistently excellent bike rentals and tours all over the country, and they offer very competitive rates.

Each bike rental includes helmets, locks, and even a map to help you find your way around Miami Beach. Much like their competitors, they also offer 2 hour, 4 hour, and full day rentals.

Here are the current rates as of 2023:

The main difference between this company and their competition is that they don’t seem to have any electric bike alternatives. They do have hybrid bikes, and this is a good alternative if you’re interested in an e-bike rental.

Although you can get a cheaper 2 hour rental elsewhere, if you’re looking for a bike you can rent for more than one day, this is one of the only options in Miami.

Citi Bike Miami

If you're looking for a more simplistic option with rentals as short as just 30 minutes, this is going to be one of your best options.

This is more of a service that locals might want to use, as you can actually purchase a monthly pass for unlimited rides.

There are over 160 Citi Bike stations all throughout Miami Beach, so you shouldn't have much trouble finding a place where you can rent one of these bikes.

Hourly Rates

  • 30 minutes: $5.39
  • 1 hour: $7.49
  • 2 hours: $10.95
  • 4 hours: $18.00
  • 1 Day: $24.00

Monthly Rates

  • Unlimited 30 minute rides: $20/month
  • Unlimited 1 hour rides: $25/month ($35 if nonrecurring)

Learn more about Citi Bike Miami.

Although prices might seem much lower than other services, the devil is in the details. If you don't return your bike on time, you'll have to pay an additional $4.60 for every 30 minute period overage.

Thankfully, if you do decide you want to use the bike for a longer period, you can return it to a Citi Bike station and check out another bike.

That said, if you were to miss your bike return by multiple hours, you could end up paying more in late fees than another bike rental service would have cost.

Citi Bike Miami has an app you can download to keep track of your bike rentals and make sure you return them in time.

NOTE: Most people won't run into any issues with late fees, because there's honestly a Citi Bike station on every other corner in Miami Beach. Check the Station Map for more information.

Miami Beach Bike Tours

If you’re looking for a guide to show you some of the best sites in Miami, you might want to consider taking a bike tour instead of getting a rental.

Although these tours typically cost more, it might be worth the price if you need some help finding your way around the city.

Bike and Roll

In addition to their bike rentals, this company also offers a Miami Beach bike tour which covers some of the most notable examples of Art Deco architecture in the area. This outing will include a leisurely 5 mile ride through the city.

Guests can expect to see sites such as the Versace Mansion and the Bass Art Museum. There will also be a stop at Nikki Beach and Monty’s Restaurant.

NOTE: A bike rental is not included with this tour, so you’ll have to pay for that separately.

Unlimited Biking

Aside from their bike rentals, this company also offers a guided Miami Beach bike tour which includes stops at several notable sites.

In addition to providing details about the most interesting Art Deco architecture in the area, this tour also includes attractions like the Holocaust Memorial and the Botanical Garden.

Unlike their competitors, Unlimited Biking includes the cost of a bike rental in the ticket price for this service, so you won’t have to worry about paying more when you arrive.
