Nashville in March tends to be variable with a mix of late winter and early spring weather ranging from cold to warm in a matter of just a few days.
Daylight hours increase rapidly this month from 11.4 hours on the 1st to 12.6 hours by the 31st.

Daytime high temperatures tend to average in the upper 50s F (14-15C) but warm up into the mid-60s F (17-19C) towards the end of the month.
A few of the warmer afternoons, especially near the end of the month, can reach into the upper 70s F (25-26C).
Late night and early morning low temperatures tend to be in the upper 30s F (2-3C) but warm up to the mid-40s F (6-8C) near the end of the month.
On average about 8-9 days see temperatures dipping to 32F/0C or less.
Wind speeds during March tend to be light, averaging mostly 4-12 mph (6-19 kph) but occasionally can be moderate at 13-18 mph (20-28 kph) with higher gusts.

About 15-16 days will be cloudy or mostly cloudy during March.
However, an equal number of days will be sunny or at least partly sunny offering a good opportunity to explore this great city.
