How's the Weather in Rome in March?

Spring begins during March in Rome with milder temperatures and ample sunshine to allow you to get outside and explore the city.


Afternoon high temperatures in March tend to be around 14-15 C (in the mid to upper 50s F) early in the month, warming to 16-17 C (the lower 60s F) by the end of the month. 

A few of the warmer afternoons, especially near the end of the month could reach 20-21 C (the upper 60s F). 

Late night and early morning low temperatures tend to be near 4-5 C (40 F) early in the month, warming to 6-7 C (the mid-40s F) by the end of the month.

A few of the colder mornings can still dip down to 0 to -1 C ( the lower 30s F).
