Things to Do in Rome in October

There won't be many sunny days this month, but it should be warm enough to consider taking a pay-what-you-wish walking tour in Rome.

If you are visiting on a rainy day, consider heading to the Pantheon to see one of the more interesting phenomena in the city.

Since the structure has an open oculus at the center of its dome, the rain falls inside the building!

Anyone visiting on October 4th might want to visit the Church of San Francesco a Ripa Grande in Trastevere to celebrate the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi.

Domenica al Museo will be taking place on Sunday, October 2nd, allowing you to visit multiple popular and historic attractions for free.

This is also the month of the Rome Film Fest, so if you're a movie buff, you might want to consider going to see one of the many films being shown during this event.
