May is one of the best months of the year to visit Los Angeles and explore this great city outdoors as the weather features warm temperatures with comfortable humidity levels.

Daytime high temperatures average in the mid-70s F (23-24 C) with a few of the warmer afternoons reaching into the mid-80s F (28-29 C).

Temperatures reach 90 F (32 C) or more only on average, once during this month. The all-time hottest temperature recorded in Los Angeles during May was 102 F (38.9 C).

Late night and early morning low temperatures tend to be in the mid to upper-50s F (13-14 C) early in May and near 60 F (15-16 C) near the end of the month.
