How is the Weather in Miami in February?

This post will give you an idea of what the weather is like in Miami during February. You can look forward to mostly sunny weather with warm afternoons and mostly comfortable evenings. 


Daytime high temperatures generally will be in the mid to upper 70s F (about 25 C) early in the month, warming to near 80F (26-27 C) by month's end.

A few of the warmer afternoons, especially late in the month, can reach up into the low to mid 80s F (28 C). The record high temperature in Miami during February is 89F (31.7 C)

Late night and early morning low temperatures will be near 60 F (about 16 C) early in the month, warming to the low to mid 60s F (about 17 C) near the end of the month.

A few of the colder mornings, especially early in the month can see temperatures dip down into the lower 50s F (about 11 C).  The record low temperature in Miami during February is 35 F (1.7 C).  

Clouds and Rain

Skies tend to be sunny or at least partly sunny on about 20 days this month with some rain falling on 6 or 7 days, however, only about 1 day this month will see significant rainfall of 0.5 inches (about 13mm) or more.

Daylight, Wind, and Ocean Temperature

You can expect about 11 hours of daylight on February 1st increasing to about 11.6 hour by the end of the month. Wind speeds during February tend to be mostly gentle to moderate (8-18 mph) but briefly can be fresh (19-24 mph/12-28 kph). 

If you visit the beaches this month you can expect ocean temperature in the mid-70s F (about 24 C).
