Amsterdam in July features comfortable afternoons with somewhat cool nights.

It is best to bring both long and short-sleeved shirts, comfortable pants, jeans, and dresses for both cool and warm days.

Sandals and sneakers, comfortable walking shoes, and an umbrella for rainy days will also come in handy.

Things to Do in Amsterdam in July

Since the weather will be warmer than usual this month, you might want to consider taking a pay-what-you-wish walking tour in Amsterdam.

This is also an excellent time to take a Canal Cruise and feel the breeze as you drift through the city.

Alternatively, you might also enjoy a trip to one of the beaches and other waterfront areas like the NEMO Terrace.

The summer typically means free open-air theatre at Vondelpark on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. These performances typically include stand-up comedy, dance, and concerts.
