Things to Do in Budapest in January

Although it will be quite cold this month, you might actually get lucky and experience a snowy day, allowing you to take a free Budapest walking tour and see all of the major landmarks draped in snow.

However, if you're looking for a few ways to get out of the cold, there are a lot of great museums and other indoor attractions in Budapest.

One idea is to attend a traditional Operetta and Folk Show and experience some of the local culture of this city.

It's also worth noting that some of the Széchenyi Thermal Baths are indoors, allowing you to take a nice, relaxing dip in the middle of winter!
