HOW WARM IS BOSTON IN MAY?
May is an excellent time to visit Boston as daytime high temperatures will be warming from the low-60s F (16 to 17 C) early in the month into the low-70s F (21 to 22 C) by the month’s end.
A couple of the warmer afternoons later in the month can reach up into the mid-80s F (28 to 29 C).
The highest temperature recorded in Boston during May was 95 F (35 C).

Late night and early morning low temperatures are mostly in the mid-40s F (7 to 8 C) early in May but warm to the mid-50s F (12 to 13 C) by the end of the month.
A few of the more chilly mornings can dip down to near 40 F (4 to 5 C). The record low temperature for Boston during May was 34 F (1.1 C).

HOW MUCH RAIN?
During May skies will be clear or at least partly sunny for about 16 days so there should be ample time to explore this city.
About 8-10 days will record at least 0.04 inches (1 mm) or more of rain.

May is mostly Spring-like with a few summer-like days, especially during the second half of the month.
