What to Wear in Budapest during September?

Temperatures fall quickly this month so fall attire works best.

Bring a lightweight to medium weight jacket along with a couple of sweaters, as well some long-sleeved tops and long pants.

Don’t forget to bring some comfortable walking shoes as in the old town the streets are cobbled and unsuitable for high heels.

Things to Do in Budapest in September

The weather should still be pretty nice this month, so it's a pretty good time to consider taking a pay-what-you-wish Budapest walking tour.

For a romantic night out, consider a cruise on the river Danube with live music, food, and drinks. Some evening cruises even include a Hungarian Folk Show!

Not interested in a cruise? You can also enjoy Hungarian Folklore Dance Performances on land at many theaters and other venues in Budapest.

If you're not visiting with a loved one, consider going to a Hungarian Beer Spa instead to relax and enjoy a few brews.

You might also want to consider going on a wine tasting tour in Hungarian wine country.
