Parking at the Library:

The Downtown Nashville Public Library offers convenient and free parking for up to three hours
for visitors. Here's how to utilize the library's parking:

  1. Arrival Time: Plan to arrive at the library a bit early to secure your parking spot, especially if
you have a specific tour start time. The tour meeting location is right next door so it’s super
    close.
  2. Library Parking Lot: As you approach the library on Church Street, you'll find the library's
parking lot on your left. The entrance to the parking lot is marked clearly. It is a multi-level
garage, and you'll find ample spaces.
  3. Duration: Parking is free for library visitors and typically has a time limit of 2-3 hours. After the
free parking duration ends you will accrue normal parking charges on the ticket.
  4. Validation: You must validate your parking ticket at the counter of the library. It only takes a
few minutes and will ensure that you get the free parking.
    Alternative Parking Options:
If the library's parking lot is full or if you plan to stay in the area for an extended period, there are
several nearby paid parking options available, including street parking, lots, and garages. Rates
may vary, so be sure to check signage and rates before parking.
