December is a fabulous time to visit with generally comfortable temperatures and just a few rainy days.

How Hot Is Miami in December?
December begins with daytime high temperatures that tend to be near 80F (26 C) but will cool down into the mid-70s F (about 24 C) by New Year's Eve.
A few of the warmer afternoons, early in the month, can reach into the low to mid-80s F (about 28C) with the all-time high temperature for Miami during December at 89 F (31.7 C).
Late night and early morning low temperatures will mostly be in the upper 60s F (20 C) early in the month falling to the mid-60s F (17 C) near the end of the month.
A few of the colder mornings, especially late in December, can dip down into the low 50s F (11 C).
The all-time low temperature for Miami during December is 30F (-1C).
Clouds and Rain
December offers a good deal of sunny weather with skies being clear or at least partly sunny on about 21 days this month.
About 7-8 days will see some rainfall, however, only about 1 day, on average, will see significant rainfalls of 0.5 inches (about 13 mm) or more.
Daylight, Wind, and Ocean
Daylight hours are fairly constant through December, averaging a bit over 10.5 hours each day.
Generally, the wind will be gentle to moderate (8-18 mph 13-29 kph) but can briefly be fresh (19-24 mph 30-39 kph).
If you are heading for the beach you can expect ocean temperatures near 79F (26 C)early in the month and near 77F (25 C) by the end of the month.

There is a 78% chance for normal to above-normal temperatures with near-normal rainfall.
What to Wear
Although Miami is a warm place to visit in December, some days and most nights can be a bit chilly.
So, it's wise to bring along a mix of both summer and some Autumn clothes so you can go to the beach or be prepared for those cooler nights.
A couple of sweaters and a windbreaker or a light jacket will come in handy. Please also don’t forget a good pair of walking shoes.
What to Do in Miami in December
Since the weather is going to be nice pretty much all month long, this is a great time to take a walking tour in Miami.
If you're trying to save some money, consider taking a self-guided tour instead!
You might also want to spend some time soaking up the sun at the beach.
This would also be a good time to take a boat tour and see the city skyline.
While there's definitely enough sun for activities like theme parks, keep in mind that this is usually a busy season for these locations.
So, there will probably be large crowds and long wait times for rides.
Miami's NBA, NFL, and NHL teams will all be playing this month as well.
