LUGGAGE STORAGE IN AMSTERDAM (THE AIRBNB METHOD)
Stasher (formerly CityStasher)
Stasher and its competitors listed below each have a system that works similar to Airbnb, where they arrange for local shops and hotels to look after your bags for a very low price.
Stasher promises that each of their StashPoints has been vetted for security – all you need is to book online, drop your bags, and enjoy your trip.
The best part is that each item you store with Stasher is fully insured.
Their pricing is quite affordable, which is just €5 per bag per day.
Another great thing about this company is that you can cancel at any time for a full refund!
Stasher is not the only luggage storage company – there are a number of other options to choose from.
Some companies offer different benefits than Stasher, so you might want to check out all your options.
Nannybag is another luggage company that serves hundreds of neighborhoods in Europe.
In Amsterdam, they have dozens of locations and provide generous insurance of €1500 per item.
Use our promo code FREETOURSBYFOOT for a 10% discount.
Their prices are very good: 6€ per piece of luggage for the first 24 hours;
4€ per piece of luggage for each additional day.

BagBnB has several locations all over Europe.
The company is different from the other two companies as their storage locations are not just shops as it can be a restaurant, a cafe, a bike rental shop, or even a Laundromat.
You could get your laundry done as your bags wait, or grab a cup of coffee when you pick them up!
The cost is €5 per bag for 24 hours with a fast 3-minute check-in. There is also insurance coverage of €200 for each bag.

There is also a special baggage depot at the Amsterdam airport where you can leave your luggage for up to one month for €7 per day.
LEFT LUGGAGE AT THE TRAIN STATION
Amsterdam Centraal train station has baggage depots called “Bagagekluizen” where you can store your bags for one hour to 72 hours.
The price of luggage lockers at Amsterdam Central costs €7 for the first 24 hours for a small storage locker and €10 for the first 24 hours for a large luggage storage locker.
NOTE: The locker area is open from 7:00 am to 1:00 am every day. You can pay for the lockers with a credit card or PIN card, and some with coins.
TRADITIONAL SELF-STORAGE CENTERS
Apart from luggage depots at the airport and train stations, there are also self-storage centers where you can drop your luggage at a specific location and pay a fixed rate per item.
Lock Luggage Storage
Located in the center of Amsterdam city near the shopping area. It has three sizes of lockers for you to choose from. Prices range from €5-10 for 24 hours.
It is open from 9:00 am to 22:00 (10:00 pm) every day.
Amsterdam Luggage Storage
This bag storage facility on Spuistraat will store your luggage at €6 per day.
The good thing about this storage center is that it offers you steep discounts if you book for 7 days or more.
Lockerpoint is another self-storage center where you can drop your gear and go for a ride. Their rates are just €8 a day.
You can leave your luggage at Lockerpoint, conveniently located near Central Station in the city center at Beurs van Berlage. They have large lockers to store your luggage.
These luggage storage options aren’t always as flexible or affordable as companies like Stasher above. Why not check out an Airbnb-style method?
LUGGAGE DELIVERY SERVICES
You can also take help of companies offering luggage delivery services. The benefit of booking your luggage with this kind of company is that you don’t need to go to pick or drop your luggage as their staff drops or collects it to and from your doorstep.
One such company is Lock Luggage Delivery. Their staff collects your luggage directly from your doorstep and deliver the same to your destination airport or deliver it to your address after checking them in at the airport or the railway station.
