Daytime high temperatures will tend to be 83-85 F (28-29 C) early in June, warming to 86-88 F (30-31 C) near the end of the month.

On average, about 11-15 days will see highs at or above 90 F (32 C) with 100 F (38 C) or higher temperatures occurring about once every decade.

The highest temperature recorded in Nashville during June is 109 F (42.8 C).

Late night and early morning low temperatures will tend to be near 64-65 F (18 C) early in June, warming to 68-70 F (20-21 C) by the end of the month.

A few of the cooler mornings, especially early in June, can still dip down near 55 F (13 C). 

The record low temperature in Nashville during June is 42 F (5.6 C).

During June you can expect about 8 sunny and 12 partly sunny days to enjoy exploring this city.

About 10-11 days will record some rainfall, however, only about 3 days see rainfalls of 0.5 inches or more.

What to Wear in Nashville in June?

Summer in Nashville can be very warm to hot so dress light and airy.

A windbreaker or light sweater is still a good idea for those cooler nights and mornings. 

In addition, some jeans and perhaps a pair of cowboy boots are recommended. 

An umbrella is a plus for rainy days and don’t forget a good pair of walking shoes for your visit as the downtown district is hilly, so comfortable footwear is a must. 


Things to Do in Nashville in June

There should be plenty of sun in Nashville this June, and there won't be much rain, so this would be an excellent time to consider taking a pay-what-you-wish walking tour.

Baseball fans will be happy to hear the Nashville Sounds will have plenty of home games this June, and there will be several giveaways throughout the month.

You can also visit Nashville Zoo with your kids which is an amazing option to spend your day in warmer months.

If you have children who love monster trucks, it's worth noting that Monster Jam is coming to the Nissan Stadium at the end of the month.

This month also typically features a lot of music festivals and tours.

In June 2022, you'll have the chance to attend the Nashville R&B Fest, the CMA Music Festival, the AM Gold Tour (Train, Jewel, Blues Traveler), and the Stadium Tour (Motley Crue, Def Leppard, Joan Jett, Poison).
