Walking Across the Brooklyn Bridge
Our Brooklyn Bridge walking tour begins by walking across the Brooklyn Bridge from Manhattan into Brooklyn.
As we cross this iconic landmark, your guide will explain the history and engineering behind one of the world's most famous suspension bridges. Learn about the enormous challenges involved in building the bridge in the 19th century, the people who made its construction possible, and the role the Brooklyn Bridge has played in New York City's history.
Along the way, you'll have opportunities to stop for photographs and take in spectacular views of Lower Manhattan, the East River, New York Harbor, and the Statue of Liberty.
Explore Historic Brooklyn Heights
After crossing the Brooklyn Bridge, we'll explore Brooklyn Heights, one of New York City's most historic residential neighborhoods.
Known for its elegant brownstones and tree-lined streets, Brooklyn Heights was one of America's first suburbs. Your guide will share stories about the neighborhood's history, including its connections to the Revolutionary War, the Underground Railroad, and some of the notable people who have called Brooklyn Heights home.
We'll also visit the Brooklyn Heights Promenade, where you'll enjoy some of the best views of the Manhattan skyline, Brooklyn Bridge, East River, and New York Harbor.

Explore DUMBO and the Brooklyn Waterfront
From Brooklyn Heights, we'll continue into DUMBO and the Brooklyn waterfront.
Once an industrial neighborhood filled with factories, warehouses, and manufacturing businesses, DUMBO has been transformed into one of Brooklyn's most popular neighborhoods. We'll explore its historic streets and waterfront while learning how the area changed from an industrial center into a destination for residents and visitors.
We'll see the famous Washington Street view of the Manhattan Bridge, explore the historic Fulton Ferry District, and visit landmarks including Jane's Carousel and Time Out Market.
