DEALS AND DISCOUNTS

The following section will provide details about some of the best ways to save money on San Francisco segway tours. We will cover tourist passes, combo packages and more.

Tourist Attraction Discount Passes

If you’re planning to enjoy a lot of different activities while you’re in San Francisco, using a tourist pass can help you save a lot of money on tickets for a variety of fun things to do – including segway tours!

There is currently only one tourist pass which includes tickets for segway tours in the Bay Area, and it is the Go San Francisco build-your-own-pass.

This option is actually one of the easiest passes to use, as it provides a flat discount of 20% off tickets at dozens of different activities.

Here are the segway tours included with various tourist passes in San Francisco:

  • Wharf and Waterfront Segway Tour
    • Normally $75 | $60 with pass
  • The Official Golden Gate Park Segway Tour
    • Normally $75 | $60 with pass

Although you could just purchase both segway tours and save money on both, there are several additional attractions included with this pass that you may want to consider.

Here are a few of the more notable activities you can enjoy for 20% off using the Go San Francisco build-your-own-pass:

  • Hop-on-Hop-off Bus Tour
  • California Academy of Sciences
  • Aquarium of the Bay
  • Golden Gate Bay Cruise
  • Oracle Park Tour
  • Six Flags Discovery Kingdom
  • California’s Great America
  • Walt Disney Family Museum
  • And more!

If you’re interested in using this service, you’ll find more information on our post covering San Francisco tourist passes.

Combo Packages

This is one of the best ways to save money on San Francisco segway tours, as you can combine tickets for the tour with admission to other activities and attractions.

Currently, the two best combo packages are actually offered by City Segway Tours, combining their most popular services with a trip to Alcatraz Island.

This photo of Segway is courtesy of TripAdvisor

Each of these combo deals includes tickets you can use on different days, so there’s no need to rush through and do it all in one day.

This is actually one of the best ways to get tickets for Alcatraz, because they can sell out for weeks at a time, making it very difficult to get admission for the popular attraction.

Companies like City Segway Tours work with Alcatraz Cruises to provide flex tickets to their customers, so you don’t even have to worry about them selling out!

For more details on visiting this historic landmark, please read our post about taking a tour of Alcatraz.

Discount Sites

In addition to all the other deals you can get on San Francisco segway tours, you’ll also find these services discounted on sites such as Groupon and LivingSocial.

Depending on when you visit these sites, they may also be offering special coupon codes which you can use to get an extra 10% - 20% off. These coupons can be found in banners at either the top or bottom of the page.
