The Windy City is known for its food, architecture, and haunting history! Walk with us as the sun sets through downtown Chicago, hearing some of the most gruesome and creepy Chicago stories.

The first stop is the Congress Hotel, the most haunted hotel in Chicago. Walk along the streets that H. H. Holmes, Chicago's first serial killer, wandered as he stalked his prey, get a glimpse of Chicago’s sordid past through stories of the Everleigh Club and the 1900s Red Light district, and learn about downtown prison breaks.

Expect more history and humor than hauntings. Our guides aim to tell you the history of the darker side of Chicago with stories of eerie coincidences and stories from the past. We don't promise any hauntings as we haven't seen any ghosts ... yet.

The Ghost Tour has very creepy content, and we rate it as PG-13. Please do not bring your kiddos!

TOUR INFORMATION

Where: Tour begins in front of the Congress Plaza Hotel at 520 S. Michigan Ave, Chicago IL 60605  (map).  The tour ends at the Clark Street Bridge (map).

Duration: Tour lasts approx. 2 hours. Total walking is just over one mile (1.6km).

This tour runs on a ticketed basis with ticket prices from $19.00 - $29.00 with Adult and Child rates.

CANCELLATION POLICY: Tours are rain or shine. In the event of adverse weather, we will email and text with alternative options or offer a refund.

If you need to cancel, please reply to your confirmation email. We hope you don't have to but if you cannot attend the tour, we can only offer a refund with 24 hours' notice before the start of the tour. After that time frame, we are unable to refund. Guests who booked via a third party ticketing site must cancel via the platform they booked on.

We offer a flexible rescheduling option and are often able to accommodate you on another tour with even short notice if a comparable tour is running during your visit!
